I'm looking for a full (new and old test.) parallel bible that includes the Holman Christian Standard Bible (HCSB), and the NASB (New American Standard), in leather-bound format. I'm not looking for software, nor am I looking for just the NT. If anyone knows of one, please let me know.

I was saved at 4 years old and i have always loved the Lord and had a heart for missions. When i was very young i said i wanted to be a missionary. i was aways trying to bring people to Christ. I pretented to preach (even though i'm a girl..lol) and i always played church. I grew up a bit and became selfish and afraid and from then on every time i heard of missionarys or countries that needed missionarys i would turn my back to the idea of ever going over there. I've always just said oh i'll be a missionary here but whenever i said that i just didn't feel right. I knew there was something more i should do.I have no desire for any career, i want to have a family and serve God with a my future husband (when we get married) wherever he calls us. I feel that God has really given me the ability to go serve him whereever he wants me to. Slowly but surely i'm opening up to it. The man who i am intrested in but not serious with yet also has the same vision and passion. Am i cut out for this?

Save the babies!!! Nix healthcare or any publicly sponsored child welfare system. That really makes alot of sense, you know? So, these poor kids grow up unwanted, undernurished, passed off to orphanges, abusive foster parents, and wind up in juvenile hall, then prison...or the graveyard due to violence or suicide. You know what you are "saving"....millions of Charles Mansons....products of the "compassionate conservative" system. Cold, bloodless sociopaths who wouldn't know a human thought if it stabbed them in the heart. This is worth saving?

Come on people, practice what you preach. If you're gonna offer a fight, you must also offer a solution.

I read here all the time and sense an irritation from atheist about Christians and the things that we do...maybe some not all!

So if you could say something to us that you wish that we would just "GET IT" what would that message be?

For some it maybe to leave you alone and never say anything to you, or quit praying for me (I'm guilty of that)...I take names and pray for health and God to reveil himself to non-believers.
Or maybe you want us to realize that you don't accept our beliefs etc..

But what's the message you want us to "GET"

Don't pray for me. Spit on my shoe. God is my lifeguard. And you are not me.. and I am not you. Please don't pray for me in this moment. We are all seperate and follow different religions. Some of us don't follow any religion. Some of us are not spiritual at all. So please don't pray for me. Please keep the illusion that we are all seperate and hateful and angry. Please keep on fighting and bickering and starting wars. Without war, there is no excitement in life. So please don't pray for me. God is something to be feared. We are fearful of each other, and we should remain so forever. Don't pray for hope. Don't pray for love. Don't pray for peace. Pray for missiles, bombs and fire.. death and destruction. Pray for sufferring and hunger, thirst and pain. Pray for guns and rape and murder. Pray for all these things. Wish them all.. because this is who you are. This is what you want. This is your wish. Why are there so many blacks that belong to this religion? Do they not know the history that it was the muslims that sold the blacks out of Africa to the slave traders? How can they trust the religion that let them down in the past? Is it just lack of knowledge?
