Jesus came into the world through the virgin birth, lived the perfect life(which we cannot not), suffered and died as substitutionary death, rose from the dead, ascended into heaven, will come back and bring in the and set up the final world of existance. Isn't trying to fine tune the details much more than this building the strw man and not woth causing division? It's nice to think about, but being hard and fast is not good hermeneutics.

It's also NOT called: blatant character assassinations, ad hominem character attacks, straw man arguments, red herrings, appeals to spite, poisoning the well, slippery slopes, ETC.

Jeez people, why do so many Athiests and Theists alike, especially in R&S, unapologetically insist on making such ill-founded generalizations about the PEOPLE they are arguing against? Riddle me THAT.

Come on guys, Debate 101 - you don't attack the character of the person you're disagreeing with, you attack their argument.

Now everyone have a cookie and stop acting like 4th graders.

I mean really, do you??

My children are in top sets at school, and are polite and curtious. They receive excellent reports from school, and teh events they belong to.

I didnt need a god to give them good manners and to respect each other.

Its a parents responsibility to do that.

Dont pas the buck to your fake god.

I mean think about it.

Beheading of child molestors and bad people. You wouldnt need to pay for the prison costs.

But then again, you would be prostituted into Islam.

HMMMMM

Today, at least where I live, it is unusually hot. tempers can run hot too. Maybe today we can try to be especially patient with others. One kind gesture can go a long way in someone's day. You never know what someone is going through and maybe that one thing will make a difference. When we see strangers we don't really know what they believe or don't believe. We do know they are human. Maybe someone will do something kind for you too. Peace.

The Yesha Rabbinical Council announced in response to an IDF attack in Kfar Qanna that "according to Jewish law, during a time of battle and war, there is no such term as 'innocents' of the enemy."

All of the discussions on Christian morality are weakening the spirit of the army and the nation and are costing us in the blood of our soldiers and civilians," the statement said. (Efrat Weiss)

Yeah, I know we can prove this, but my question is hypothetical

If the pope, and all the heads of religion stood up infront of every one, and informed that it has been proven beyond doubt that everything you believed about religion was untrue.

Would you still believe??

If so WHY???

Why do we instill all the religious nonsense into Children??

Why do we brain wash them into faith?

You know that children are gullible and believe anything a parent says.

My friend say's he/she is afraid he/ahe might have done this in anger and I would like to know. He/She told God, to leave and take the Holy Ghost too, but shortly after regreted and repented greatly for days after. To this day he/she feels the Holy Ghost has not returned, but he/she is not happy unless he/she is talking about the lord and when people hear him/her speak it is quite wonderful and many people always want to hear more.

To me it sounds like the Lord speaking through him/her. He/she tells me he/she still has dreams and visions that are prophetic, he/she is deeply worried about his/her soul. What can I say that would bring this person back to 100%. Please no guessing I need only one great answer, perhaps only one that God could give.

Galatians 3:27-29 (New International Version)

For all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, slave nor free, male nor female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus. If you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.

I believe Christianity puts everyone on the same level playing field. I know there are still injustices in the world, but all Christians should stand united as equals before our Creator.

Can Christianity be the role model for the world to follow? What do you think?
