I mean think about it.

Beheading of child molestors and bad people. You wouldnt need to pay for the prison costs.

But then again, you would be prostituted into Islam.

HMMMMM

No. If they live in the UK then they should abide by the laws of the UK.

Even though horrible crimes make us want to lash out at the offenders, Sharia is not the way to go. The UK is a Christian nation and Islam is not of their tradition. Likewise, under Sharia I would have to be veiled or face stoning. I think that would be the ultimate in woman hatred:(

This shouldn't be a religious matter, it should only be a political matter. In which case, no we should not adopt any sort of Islamic law in this country. The Muslims in this country, whether born here or immigrants, should accept the U.K. laws in place. That's why they should not moan about Xmas tree's and the likes as that is part of British culture and as they are in Britain, they should respect British cultures and beliefs, not try and impose their own laws/religious teachings here. I, personally, wouldn't go to any Islamic country and tell them not to pray to Mecca as I find it offensive. That would mean I was trying to impose my cultural beliefs on them, and that would not be right.

Point is this, Muslamic law is fine in Muslamic countries, it is not acceptable here, in the civillised world. Before anyone gets on my case about that, look at Israel right now, Iran, Iraq, etc which are nearly all Muslim based countries. The teachings they follow jusify death in the name of "god". Fabulous. I thought God was all loving but evidently not in the Muslamic faith. Death is acceptable "in the name of god". Give me a break.

Islamic Sharia Law doesn't respect democracy and Western held values. We should rely on our own laws even though they sound stupid at times.

No, never, unless the vast majority of the population was Muslim and wished it.

Sharia law shouldn't be compulsory for anyone.

If 2 consenting adults wish to abide by sahria law, then fine, PROVIDING it didnt interfere with British law. ie the pounishement couldn't be against British law, so no stoning, beheading, amputation or other throwbacks to nmore barbaric times

You don't understand Islam very well, do you.

In the Middle East, men who rape women of any age are not considered to be at fault. The little girl/woman is considered to be at fault.

She's the one that would be punished for having had the bad morals to be a victim of rape.

Well, I might be inclined to see child molesters have there "Turkey Parts" separated from there bodies via the sword.... But not under any sort of Islamic jurisdiction.
