I would highly recommend the best way to start your career within an oriental environment is by practicing the fine art of Harri-Cari. Get it down pat as soon as you can and try it for real...only then can you become a true Islamic scholar and get 72 virgins while your at it.

start by learning all the arabic and islamic languages, if your islamic scholar career goes downhill, you can always come back and work for the us government as a translator.
