Why are there so many blacks that belong to this religion? Do they not know the history that it was the muslims that sold the blacks out of Africa to the slave traders? How can they trust the religion that let them down in the past? Is it just lack of knowledge?

why would you choose the word "sucked"..were whites "sucked" into christianity/cathalocism when they went to africa and forced the african onto slave ships??? They then read the bible and told the african that the bible said that they should be slaves. i would say that whites were "sucked" into believing that columbus discovered America as if the original African that was already here was not human.For all the plundering and murdering that the whites have done around the world the question is Why are there so many people that would believe anything the whites have to say,especially the blacks..how can they trust those who put them in slavery and stole and plundered(and are still doing so today) the natural resources of the african continent?? Well the answer to both our questions would be that if we didn't trust that there are good people and bad people,intelligent people and ignorant people..then i dare say what would be the purpose of living..just to see how miserable you can feel???? Why was the working class whites "sucked into" believing that the color of their skin made them superior to all others??? It was told to you by the upper class whites inorder to keep you from seeing how they were stealing all for themselves..if they kept you at odds with others you wouldn't be paying attention to what they were doing. And their plan worked and is still working today!!!

For some strange reason, Blacks seem to be very suseptable to mystisism in all it's forms. Lose faith in one, jump to something else. You noticed that all those psychic hot-lines that were on TV were all aimed at Blacks. As far as them knowing that the Muslims sold them into slavery, look how easily they bought into the God of the slavers once they arrived in America. There are very few Black Atheists.

Why are so many blacks sucked into Christianity - don't they know that every western nation traded in blacks and made immense profits out of it, and the slave trade was a direct precursor of imperialism which led to the downfall and ungovernability of african nations?
People have freedom of religion. They can choose to believe what they want regardless of your opinion.

All due respect but I think it is you who suffers of lack of knowledge .If you think what you are saying is true then you need to read and learn more about other religions instead of just trying to spread hatred and downplay races.
Before Islam,Slavery was common in arabia as elsewhere in the world. After Islam, Slavery in all its forms became strictly forbidden. A companion of Prophet Mohammed (peace be opon him) has said " How can you take people as slaves when their mothers have given birth to them as free".Prophet Mohammed has said " Oh people, your God is one, your father is one, all of you are descendants of Adam (peace be upon him) ,and adam was created from dust. Those of you closer to God are those who are more pious and there is no difference between an Arab and a non-Arab"
Are these teachings of slavery?If I recall..the biggest discrimination problem that dark-skinned people ever faced was in the West when they were prohibited same school education as whites as well as other things.(If it wasn't for people like Martin Luther King to try and fight back)
What I heard from dark-skinned people converting to Islam is that " A beautiful thing in Islam is that God isn't pictured as white while I'm created black"
Is it because they have found their true Freedom in Islam?

the same reason so many of the oppressed and abused are lured into cults... it is a sense of belonging and being empowered... a great many of the black slaves in the early US history were very strong Christians...praise God they had Heaven to give them a place to be free of the evil of slavery... Now, sadly, many are tending to the occult and cults and the evil inspired man invented"religions" and they will be lost like all the rest who reject God.

Why do you spread lies? or maybe you misunderstood the facts. It is Christians who sold Africans and brought them to America after killing the real citizens.
Back to your question, it is because in Islam all are equal and there is no difference between a Muslim and another, but in the strength of his/her faith.

I dont think black people get sucked into it. It happens to be a very predominant religion on a continent that has more black people. I know lots of white people who were sucked into it also.
