Is there a Hell in Judaism, or what happens to the unrepentent after death? Is there eternal punishment, and what would the fate be for someone like Hitler?

Your options begin at conception, all the up to, and past birth. If you do not believe in a soul please do not post as that is a waste of everybodies time. If you do not know, that's OK, just give us your opinion, or best educated guess.

This is an interesting question asked by several people. I mean do you feel that immigrants here should stay the way they are, what changes does the church do the make a difference? Should the church do anything for them?

Sorry, Jim. After your post yesterday about being stalked, my character flaws forced my hand. I pray for your forgiveness. I will say 100 hail marinaras and return to my court mandated 200 foot distance from you.

But seriously, in the source documents used to compile the “New Testament”, the word Lucifer is only used in Revelation. Never is it equated with Satan. In fact, in Rev 22:16, Jesus uses the term to refer to himself. So now I’m confused about the theological implications of my question…hmmm.

Why did it take almost 1500 years for Jesus' preachings to reach them. What happened the generations of people who died without knowing his message, let alone that of the
Jewish peoples who lived prior to Christ.

I'm too lazy to do the research myself. About the current breakdown in Israel...can anyone give me a specific look at the Bible's predictions of this? Does this lean toward bigger events, or is this an isolated conflict?

If you presented an Alien (be imaginative), or someone completely ignorant of world religions with the bible and the illiad and lets say the lord of the rings trilogy, and asked him which book represented god's word, which would he choose and why?

Running around the desert with his friends. Preaching peace and love. He had long hair and liked to party. They say he was a carptenter, but how did he have time if he was so busy preaching? Was he just saying that to get welfare?

An answer recently posted:

"(Atheists) don't want there to be a God because they don't want any accountability for their actions."

Many, many people have said this. If you believe in God, do you not also believe that you are accountable to, say, your family, your boss, the law of your land, society at large and your own conscience?

Or must we understand that belief in God nullifies all of those?

Hear me out.....Your loved one is murdered, but now their soul is in a glorious, wonderful Heaven. But now you foam at the mouth and want to see the killer dead. But this killer sent your loved one to Heaven. Shouldn't you thank the killer?

Ditto for you pro-lifers. If a mother aborts her baby, she is scum, but if your magical God takes a 3 month old via SIDS, then he is an awesome God with mysteriouis ways. What a freakin' Catch 22!!

I love poking holes in your beliefs.

In my reading of the story, God wanted to destroy Sodom. Then Abraham asks God what if there were 50 righteous men. I think they discussed it and got the number down to 10.

Is it permissible for Abraham to discuss this with God and question God?

In a June 13 speech in Hong Kong, Hawking said the survival of the human race depends on its ability to find new homes elsewhere in the universe because there's an increasing risk that a disaster will destroy Earth.

He said that if humans can avoid killing themselves in the next 100 years, they should have space settlements that can continue without support from Earth.

How much do you teach your children at home about:

1. the Bible, God, and Jesus

2. science, the big bang and evolution

3. other non-Christian religions and their beliefs.

(simple answers are fine, please answer all three, thank you)

It is also possible that Muhammad learnt Torah and Bible and he then created his own version by taking stuff from them and then narrating it to his followers who wrote them as Koran.

Please dont take offence anybody, this is just a Q that came to my mind after reading briefs of Torah, Bible & Koran.

I know that a lot of people are talking about the end times, wondering if they are here. It seems to me like we are in the "beginning of the end." I feel this way b/c of all of the natural disasters in recent years and the growing wars across the world.

However, I'm guessing that a lot of people thought that we were in the "beginning of the end" during WWII when Jews were being killed during the holocaust. Maybe they were in the "beginning of the end," at that time, and this is a continuation of that.

So, I guess that what I'm trying to say is that this is not the first time that the world has been in an uproar, and even though we may be experiencing the birthpains of the end times, it could be years before Christ returns.

My question is, how do you interpret the current world events with regards to the end times? Do you believe we are experiencing the signs of the times?
