I'm too lazy to do the research myself. About the current breakdown in Israel...can anyone give me a specific look at the Bible's predictions of this? Does this lean toward bigger events, or is this an isolated conflict?

The only place in the bible that I can think of that clearly points to these events is in Zechariah 12

Verse I: The burden of the worf of the LORD for Israel, saith the LORD, which stretcheth forth the heavens, and layeth the foundation of the earth, and formeth the spirit of man within him.
Verse 2: Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of trembling unto all the people round about, when they shall be in the siege both against Judah [the Jewish people] and against Jerusalem.
Verse 3: And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it.

It is clear from this passage that ALL nations shall gather together against Israel. This may seem not to be so at this time, but even with President Bush's "Road Map to Peace", the USA is, in effect, acting against Jerusalem and the Jewish people, by attempting to give away the land that is Israel's by inheritance of God. We are clearly near the end when the USA is against Israel, even though it seems on the surface that we are not. Maranatha!

The conflict between Arab and Jew isn't in the Bible. Here's the true story that the Christians don't want to let get out...The Jew and Arab are being used to restore the Holy City of Jerusalem to them. The Christians really don't want peace there because by exploiting the Jew and Arab they can get their numbers down and forces weakened than march triumphantly into Jerusalem. That's the real story behind the conflict there. Also it's why the Jews were the "chosen people". They were chosen to suffer this indignity and suffering for the Sins of Humanity which is why Jesus didn't die for our sins. No it doesn't lead to bigger events because the Jews will do what the US wishes and take out the Iranian Nuke capabilities (they're being manipulated to do that work anyway). Shame the Jew and Arab don't see they're being played. PEACE!

The bible clearly predicts that the UN resolution won't do very much but that the airport will stay closed for some while. See page 273.

The people of the middleeast have been butchering each other since there were people in the middleeast.

It is unlikely that it means anything.
