But seriously, in the source documents used to compile the “New Testament”, the word Lucifer is only used in Revelation. Never is it equated with Satan. In fact, in Rev 22:16, Jesus uses the term to refer to himself. So now I’m confused about the theological implications of my question…hmmm.

We do not, my "question" is meant in jest. I do not even know the actual name of anyone on this board At least you were more polite than some others trying to make the same point. But what is the question here - what difference does any answer to that question really make, unless someone is bigotted by their own dogma.

well just check out the first chapter of job where the word satan is, no where in job revelations or isiah or genesis does it say jim_darwin

Ummm...In the KJV version Lucifer appears in Isaiah 14:12. In the New American Standard Version is appears no where. I think you're so confused you don't even know what you're asking.
