It is also possible that Muhammad learnt Torah and Bible and he then created his own version by taking stuff from them and then narrating it to his followers who wrote them as Koran.

Please dont take offence anybody, this is just a Q that came to my mind after reading briefs of Torah, Bible & Koran.

To those who have answered that Muhammad was illiterate, I know that but it is also possible someone narrated Torah and Bible to him. Since he had the power of convincing, he convinced people that Gabriel narrated God's words to him. This is a huge possibility, unless someone gives a definite proof.

Mohammed had access to the Old and New Testaments, which is why there's a common thread in them and the Doran. (He claimed that the angel Gabriel dictated the Koran to him in a cave. Kind of like Moses claimed that he received the Ten Commandments on a mountaintop.)

The only way to recognize the voice of God in another person is to first recognize it in yourself. God speaks to anyone who honestly listens. When you recognize truth for yourself, you don't need to follow anyone else.

How did Muhammed has access to NT and OT when the oldest translation of Bible in Arabic exists is from 900AD, almost 250 years after Muhammed.

About your question, I know as a Muslim, I should ask people to find mistakes in Quran if they can find any. Of course there are 1000s who thought they found some great mistakes in Quran but at the end they ended up eating dust.

Another question that one should ask that let's say for the sake of arguement Muhammed did copy OT and NT then what about all the obvious scientific, mathematical, moral errors and contradictions we find in the current Bible we have? Why is that Quran doesn't say world is 6000 years old? Why there aren't any Unicorns in Quran? Why there aren't stories of incest? Why is that the flood of Noah was sent to his nation/people only, not the whole world?

How did an illetirate person knew all this? Are you saying that Arabs 1400 were so advance in science, math and moral teachings that even today's science is still discovering what they have 1400 years ago?

Also, Quran was revealed in the course of 23 years, it's most likely impossible that Muhammed was asking someone for help from anyone else becuase someone would have noticed. Especially during his early days when Muslims were handful and they were against 10s of thousands of enemies.

Well, Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him)was illiterate so he did not study the written word and also he lived in a very heathenish environment and was not likely to hear the Gospel or Torah especially in Arabic. And also he told things and gave signs that were beyond human power. So this is a proof. The same is for our beloved Jesus (peace and blessings be upon him)who provided signs but none of his own believed him anyways even with proof. Proof is only good when eyes want to see (perceive)and ears want to hear (understand). Hope this helps!

The answer is within the Qur'an message. One has to read it with open mind to understand the message.

God has already knew that some will say that Muhammad (PBUH) has taken the verses from Torah and Gospel and some will deny it by saying that this is nothing but a book of ancient stories.

PS: God did not speak to Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) directly. The Qur'an verses revelation with done through angel Gabriel. God only speak directly to Prophet Moses (PBUH).

Muhammad (SAW) couldn't read nor write. He was illiterate. he came from a poor background ; His whole knowledge came from God.

And Miss Shell, you should probably check yoself be4 saying n e thing since what you are saying is bullsh*t. He didi accomplish miracles. But you will notice that none of the different Prophets did the same miracles, always different things. N e way, Muhammad did multiply food for instance, and he separated the moon into 2, in front of eye witnesses. Thank you.

Of course that's what he did and there is enough stupid people to believe that he was sent from god.
Did he raise the dead?
Walk on water?
heal the sick? feed the starving? Was there any eye witnesses that he was send from God like John the Babtist.
Did he fulfill bible prophecys that were written thousands of years in advance that he would fulfill? some don't even believe in Jesus and he did all that. How much less someone with no proof

Totally possible. As Jesus may have been just a very enlightened person. I don't know enough about Muhammed, but I remember someone saying that he himself said he was not a God.

We must take the truths from all enlightened people, the ones that seat in our heart.

Same way we know that an angel gave golden plates to Joseph Smith but then took them away.

All religion is based on hearsay.

You don't know, you just have to trust your faith. How do you know the Torah and the Bible weren't just made up?
