Ends Times?

Question

I know that a lot of people are talking about the end times, wondering if they are here. It seems to me like we are in the "beginning of the end." I feel this way b/c of all of the natural disasters in recent years and the growing wars across the world.

However, I'm guessing that a lot of people thought that we were in the "beginning of the end" during WWII when Jews were being killed during the holocaust. Maybe they were in the "beginning of the end," at that time, and this is a continuation of that.

So, I guess that what I'm trying to say is that this is not the first time that the world has been in an uproar, and even though we may be experiencing the birthpains of the end times, it could be years before Christ returns.

My question is, how do you interpret the current world events with regards to the end times? Do you believe we are experiencing the signs of the times?

No one knows the day that our Lord will return. However, the latest violence in around Israel has me asking the same question. As I drive to work each day, I look to the sky and hope that it will be today. If I gave you a hundred scriptures that said Jesus was coming tomorrow or next week what would you do? I wish more of my friends and family would believe, but I am ready to go. Are u?

Each day that passes brings us one day closer to the end of the system. No one knows for sure when that day will be, but all of the composite signs given by Jesus are here. In fact, you've just fulfilled prophecy by saying "this is not the first time that the world has been in an uproar".

2 Peter 3:3, 4 says: "For you know this first, that in the last days there will come ridiculers with their ridicule, proceeding according to their own desires and saying: “Where is this promised presence of his? Why, from the day our forefathers fell asleep [in death], ALL THINGS ARE CONTINUING EXACTLY AS FROM CREATION'S BEGINNING."

In a June 13 speech in Hong Kong, Stephen Hawking said the survival of the human race depends on its ability to find new homes elsewhere in the universe because there's an increasing risk that a disaster will destroy Earth.

He said that if humans can avoid killing themselves in the next 100 years, they should have space settlements that can continue without support from Earth.

If you don't believe that fact that the Bible says the planet is ending, maybe you'll ponder the sayings of Hawking

There are no signs. Everything in Revelations has been fulfilled. 85% of it is OT prophecy, and I know Jesus fulfilled all OT prophecy. What we read in Revelations is the wrath that would have come unto the world if there hadn't been an intercessor. Jesus took all of that upon Himself.

Do you think His sacrafice was simply being nailed to a cross? Many people died that way back then. Nothing special about that.

Humans will create their own end to fulfill their own beliefs. We are the creators with our thoughts and beliefs.

So maybe we should change our minds about a few things.

We are in the "Last Day's" with the Beginning of Sorrow's.
The "End of the World" is not the End of the EARTH and all of it's People's.
The "End of the World" is when JESUS come's back and LOCKS-UP satan and the Devil's that followed him. IT IS A GOOD THING, but there will be some LIMITED DESTRUCTION (War's, Fighting etc.) that will happen befor HE get's here.
ALOT of PEOPLE will ACCEPT HIM as their SAVIOUR and make it to HEAVEN during this Time, and their will be ALOT of People left on the EARTH after all of the War's. Hope this helps. "JLU"

These are but the birthing pains of things yet to come. They were foretold us, but have we ever listened. Will we pay attention now?

Watch these who are really behind this, Iran. They are the supporters of the terrorist and watch what they do. They need for the big boy countries to get involved in this. They know that Israel can fall until the US falls. They know that we have to fall before they can take out their enemy. Their only hope is to make this bigger and pull others in to this, Russia, China, and others. They can do this by using oil as a weapon.

Better pay real close attention to what is going on. It is much bigger than what you might think.

The main reason I believe that the end times will be soon is because everything is speeding up, good and evil are becoming more polarized, and the world system is becoming more horrible every day. Also through satellite TV and other modern media we are able to preach Jesus to the whole world.

we are in the end time. the signs are everywhere. Also according to Daniel 12:4 it says in the time of the end knowledge shall increase and people shall run to and fro. Only in this past century did this happen. There's an explosion of technology and knowledge and now anyone and everyone travels anywhere by car, plane, ship,... to where people travel "to and fro" Also there are many people who have written about their experiences with God where Jesus told them he is coming back VERY soon. So either way people must be repented and ready. God Bless.

The "signs of the times" are ALWAYS there. There are always wars and rumors or wars, there are always natural disasters, there are always a million other unpleasant things. People just want to be living in the end times so the will always see the signs.

i believe it is my job to keep on being the right person to be and not second guess god. The messiah will arive when the time is right. Once we start to try and compute the end, we then get complacent and say "it will happen then so i can just sit back." That's the easiest way to make it NOT happen.
