Was God like "I shall call you Adam, and I shall call you Eve, because I like those names. They are hella cool."?

I don't mean to make fun, just a small joke. But seriously is there a reason?

Many diffrent times I have turned to God in hope for awnsers, some times where just becasue i was in need others where not, yet almost every time I was real with my prayers. It seems like when I try to get close to God and be a better person it becomes harder and there is more to deal with, I am almost affraid to turn to him becasue I feel it is going to get hard once again and once again I wil fail him. What do I do?

Come on admit it you ALL do it, Christians
AND Athiests. So tell me why? I cannot for the life
of me think of a single time I have peer pressured
anyone into following my religion. And if it is not pressure
it is ALWAYS degrading insults.

So lets hear it, and all who deny that any in
their group doesn't is kidding themselves.

Is it someone who claims to be Christian just because he grew up in a Christian church?By the way, we still have to check if the church also was biblically "Christian".

Is it someone who was raised up by parents who do not have the heart of what Christianity is in them, and was oppressed by his parents and later says "I grew up in a Christian home, and they forced their belief on me I'm now agnostic"?

Is it a backslidden Christian who once lived for Christ and now lives for himself?Remember he still has knowledge about Christianity but he does not have the revelation of who Christ is.

Is it someone who longed to belong to some religion and picked Christianity?

Is it someone who lives in sin yet goes to a Christian church and proclaims "I'm a Christian" if asked?

Is it soemone who went to churches that call themselves "Christian" just because they use a bible and believe some truths about Jesus Christ and reject others?

Is it someone who is lead by the Holy Spirit?

save his 5 brothers, for the rich man had failed to pay attenion to the scriptures(bible) and its teaching, and feared his brothers would do the same.He pleads to send someone back from the dead to tell them so they would surely listen....
What would it take for you to believe, would you believe if someone rose from the dead, jesus told this story in reference to his death. Is your mind so closed that no evidence, not even a ressurrection would change you.Read it for yourself its all there in black and white.

Whatever happened to following the teachings of God's word the bible rather than man. At Exodus 20:4,5 it states, "You must not make for yourself a carved image or a form like anything that is in the heavens above or that is on the earth underneath or that is in the waters under the earth. You must not bow down to them nor be induced to serve them". Or what about Jeremiah 10:3-5 which states that people have the custom to make images that can't do anything for you. And finally, the scripture at John 4:24 which states, "God is a Spirit, and those worshiping him must worship with spirit and truth." (not an idol or carved image). Displaying Jesus' stake is a reproach. I only suggest that you reconsider what your religious leaders are telling you. Bring these scriptures to their attention and ask their opinion on it in relation to their displaying the cross, sculptures of Jesus and angels, etc.

I mean, we know how dangerous smoking is and it is probably more dangerous than eating junk food...

Yet millions of people slide to different outlets just to have their puff!

What's amazing is that the first puff is always uncomfortable or even painful, why did'nt first time smokers quit right that day?

Many smokers witnessed the addictive abilities of smoking before they started smoking, but they eventually smoked.

What's so disappointing is this:

Most smokers started to smoke when they were immature, say +- 12 years old, and have now matured but they are still doing something they started to do when they were immature!

Knowing the possibilities of lung cancer, throat cancer and bad breath, they still go on smoking?

What could be the cause of all this?
