...if I try to revive biblical fashion by showing up at work today wearing nothing but a fig leaf and an apple at hand?

God bless.

God's grace is sufficient and His blessings are eternal, but guess what? God is not going to bless those who do not do His will just because they ask. "Ask and you shall receive" yes, but you must understand that God isn't going to give you everything you ask for, especially if it isn't going to be used to glorify Him. If you asked for a million dollars and He blessed you with it, chances are most of us would take off to the Bahamas or something and forget about God and stop praising Him just because He gave you what you wanted. God is a just God. He will provide in due time.

What are your thoughts about how God blesses people?

every major religion in the world insists that it, and only it, is correct and the divine word of God. So, which one is really right or are they all nothing but primitive superstition that should have disappeared by the time of "The Age Of Reason"?

Whilst in Singapore I was in some hindu temple (because we followed Dan in there to make sure he didn't just go to the pub) and they where having prayer time and they where playing some funky music. The moral of the story is if you are going to talk to yourself why not play some funky music to your self instead of just sitting in the corner and talking quietly to your self like christians do. Say no to vishnu. Say no to jesus.

To my way of thinking the Church (Catholic church for this example, but could be any religious faith) always comes out with rhetoric about forgiveness, sharing, love one another and so on. All totally right. However, should the Church come forward with a viable and workable plan for all countries to adopt so we can all live in a better world? I feel, at times, that although the Church always promotes the right message regarding moral issues, for most people living in the real world it is often impossible to live their lives in tune with the teachings. I, for example, am totally against abortion, but if there is an impoverished young girl who is unable to feed her child because she cannot get any income to buy food then she is in a terribly difficult situation. What, in this, and many other cases, can the Church do to put pressure on governments to change the way the system operates so that the young girl in my example can have her child and can feed it.

In most answers I read, of various quesitons and especially love and relationships problems, 75-80% answers are negative. It feels as people have lost trust, hope, faith. And these negative answers do not help people going through pain.
Why are people so negative now a days, in the older times people were mere united and wanted to support eachother with positive answers.
Why is this happening, am I the only one noticing this?

And thou wilt find the nearest of them in affection to those who believe (to be) those who say: Lo! We are Christians. That is because there are among them priests and monks, and because they are not proud. When they listen to that which hath been revealed unto the messenger, thou seest their eyes overflow with tears because of their recognition of the Truth. They say: Our Lord, we believe. Inscribe us as among the witnesses

So, the larger of the dinosaurs may have been warm-blooded. That would explain much.
Oh and for those stupid enough to ask something like "then what about the eggs? Warm blooded creatures don't lay eggs" let me stop you right there and suggest you look in the nearest nest. Birds are warm blooded and lay eggs. As does the Duck-billed Platypus.
And some reptiles bear live young, the common garter snake for example.
I just wanted to cut off your staggering ignorance in mid-stream...

It's a kind of transference thing, the homophobe is peeved and he likes to think his God would be as peeeved as he is so he just uses God as a disguise and a mouthpiece for his own peeved prejudices ... God then get's a bad reputation!

I don't understand the whole 'pray for a miracle' thing. What is the point? Apparently your god only answers prayers (2% of the time) when he feels like it isn't messing with his divine plan. If he is omnipotent and always watching over you, then you wouldn't need to point out to him that you needed a miracle or whatever. Isn't it kind of arrogant for you, a puny human, to ask the creature you think created the entire universe to stop whatever it is he is doing just to cater to your needs? If you pray to him constantly don't you think that would get on his nerves after awhile?
