Buddhism has had:

1) NO Inquisition
2) NO Crusades
3) NO Witch Hunts
4) No Holy Wars
5) No Buddhists killing other Buddhists over petty doctrinal differences.
6) Plus Buddhists didn't create a Dark Age.

Can Christians say the same?

Jesus supposedly said, "By their fruits you shall know them. A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit." Well, we've seen the fruits of Christianity. It cannmot possilby be from God. Buddhism demonstrably does a better job improving people's moral character.

What is better in the eyes of both Man and God? To act with love, compassion, morality under the "wrong" religion or to violently force others to captulate to the only "true" faith- who does God (and man for that matter) favor? What about people that don't believe in God, are unsure or simply don't belong to any faith but act with great morality, and a love, respect for others? Just curious on peoples opinions and I hope I get a broad spectrum of various faiths (and agnostics and atheists) too.

I needed to brush up on my Bible since all I remember from my parental enforced Sunday School were the really scary parables, like maybe my mom and dad could sacrifice me and God and the Devil can make bets behind your back… So I went to look for a Bible and lo and behold there are like 50 of them! And that does not include the study guides! When I went into the religious store (and got passed the fact I did not immediately burst into flames) the clerk who was very nice, asked what religion I was…What? (Insert head doing double take here) when I was a kid there was only one, it was black and it had all my family’s names in it.
While I was busy mentally packing my beliefs in the agnostic file than after College trying to delete them and couldn’t, so I recycled them under atheism- you guys were busy writing like ,100 Bibles!
So here is my question. Are you really following God’s word or some weak interpretation of it? And on a lighter note which Bible should I buy?

A guy named Gary says to you: 'This isn't going to be easy, but I want you to pick A or B.'
In order to answer A you are going to have to climb a mountain. The answer to B is across the street. B is obviously much easier.
But Gary whispers: "You want to answer A."
Then you see him whisper something to his friend Lou.
Lou then says to you: "It's a trick question. He tried this one on me. The answer is B".
Now you don't know which way to answer. You know Gary told Lou to do something. Was Gary telling Lou to lie to you? Is Lou not going to be a part of Gary's game and trying to help you out? Was Gary lying in the first place when he said to pick A?
So you guess. Since it's much easier to guess B, you go with B.
Gary says "Wrong answer. Stand right there while Lou beats you with a whip for all eternity."
You ask Gary: "Why did you tell Lou to lie to me?"
And Gary says: "Because I love you so much."

You say that all mankind are sinners, it is hard for me to believe that (How can you say that Newborn babies Thousands who die before reaching the age of five Because of diseases in Many poor African countries are sinners)
Anyhow you believe that all mankind are sinners on the Hypothesis of Two persons
Known as Adam & Eve who committed a sin millions of years ago and we are all their descendents and hence some how we carry their legacy of sins

·First Adam and Eve were normal human beings, they were not supernatural, and how many kids could they have produced in those times, remember in the past average human life expectancy or life was around 35 years, so the belief that they traveled around the world and gave birth to different children in different continents can be easily debated.
·Secondly were Adam and Eve White, Black or Multiracial, How can you explain So many different Races of people being off springs of Adam and Eve who are generally depicted and believed to be White.(did they give Birth to Chinese ,Asian ,African and European predecessors)
·Thirdly this is the most important argument, In modern times we have discovered DNA Testing, Anybody can easily identify any persons relatives (father, brother, sister etc) If we all were descendents of common parents and Evolution was lies than all of us would have a similar DNA Come now No Black man is related to a White man on purely biological DNA testing.(many Muslims marry with their cousins, Genghis Khan & his son Who Raped so many women more than 6% of people bearing his Y Chromosome ,come do we all bear a same chromosome
We should all be bearing Adams Chromosome)
Don’t give me religious Quotations and don’t say have faith, or else I Will say eat my ****, have faith you will become immortal

Just a simple argument will suffice

Do you notice when you talk to people who are "religious" that some not all of them think that you are making a joke about your atheism. Or have you seen that they think that you "hate God" and thats why you are an atheist.
