I'm neither buddhist or christian. So consider this an outsider view.
I consider buddhism is much better than christianity or islam and yes, I consider buddhist people to be better persons in the average, there are bad apples everywhere though. Buddhism isn't as dogmatic as the formers as well.

Being that I am neither Buddhist or Christian, I find I can be a judge in this.
I like the argument you presented, being that it can be debated either way.
You presented your position very well and provided a heap of reasons to support it.
By what you have supplied me and my own knowledge of Buddhism and Christianity, I have to agree with you. In the sense that you are speaking of, yes, Buddhism is better than Christianity.

there's no 'better' or 'worse':
there's only loving- kindness, compassion, mindfulness, right thoughts & intentions, etc. in all of us. we just need to cultivate it. these good qualities does not only belong to buddhists, there are many (religious or athetists) people out there who possessed these qualities too.
***The other side
One day a young Buddhist on his journey home, came to the banks of a wide river. Staring hopelessly at the great obstacle in front of him , he pondered for hours on just how to cross such a wide barrier. Just as he was about to give up his pursuit to continue his journey he saw a great teacher on the other side of the river. The young Buddhist yells over to the teacher "Oh wise one , can you tell me how to get to the other side of this river"?
The teacher ponders for a moment looks up and down the river and yells back "My son, you are on the other side" .

Hi Kreevich,
No one can judge which is better than which.
The Buddha said, rely on his teaching and examine them to its core but one of his teaching is also to practice equinamity.
I'm thankful as a Buddhist of what you've listed, but Buddhists too can commit the same mistake if they forget to maintain the awareness that Buddha constantly reminded us of.

Everything is perspective. That something is good or bad is a matter of perspective. How people practice their beliefs in anything is also a matter of perspective. Maybe you're railing at the practice brought about by the perspective. Don't look at the symptoms. Observe and study the cause.

You make a very interesting point. IMO Buddhism is much better, yes, but for one of me, there are two dozen Christians saying otherwise. Good luck.

It is not the question, if one ..ism is better than another ..ism.
The really interesting thing is if your practice in daily life leads you to more clarity of mind and a more helpful attitude toward other beings.
If you confront one belief to another you won't achieve this goal, neither you nor others.

Do items 1-6 prove that Buddhism is truth and Christianity is not? No, nor does it even elude to a truth. So what is it that you are saying exactly?
If we talk about people in terms of fruit, in every batch of fruit there is good fruit and bad fruit.

As Jeza puts it in Glenn Kleier's 'The Last Day'
"Is ice superior to water?"
Both are religions of purity. It is man who taints them.
