God's grace is sufficient and His blessings are eternal, but guess what? God is not going to bless those who do not do His will just because they ask. "Ask and you shall receive" yes, but you must understand that God isn't going to give you everything you ask for, especially if it isn't going to be used to glorify Him. If you asked for a million dollars and He blessed you with it, chances are most of us would take off to the Bahamas or something and forget about God and stop praising Him just because He gave you what you wanted. God is a just God. He will provide in due time.

What are your thoughts about how God blesses people?

I was using the million dollar thing as an example.

I believe that God's blessings are abundant, and that he will care for us at all times, and provide for us all that we need.

But you are right in saying that God likely isn't going to grant us all a million dollars, no matter how hard we pray for it.

We often forget that in petition, we are asking for something on the condition that it be in line with God's will. God knows what is best for us, knows what we truly need, and He will give you what you ask for in accordance to His will.

I think that he blesses you when you are in a hard time or when you really need answers. I dont think he blesses you with money, he will bless you with the knowledge and the know how of how to be successful but he is not just going to give you 1 million dollars, he is just and he will bless you but not for matieral things,

If you ask for a million dollars, He can and may give it to you, but it depends on what you are planning to use it for. if you have glorified God with what he provided in the past, then he very well may bless you again. For instance.. my family prayed to God to bless us with a larger home so we could have more teens over to a safe place where they could have fun and didn't have to worry... and He provided... now we are praying for an inground pool and finiancing for the pool so we can have our house as a meeting place and fun refuge for non-christians so we can show them God's love without shovign it in their face.. and for some reason, when we started praying, we kept on being provided with pamplets and adds for inground pool companies. it's cool how He provides... We even have someone coming to our house tomorrow to do an estimate on hoow much the pool will cost.

I feel I have been very blessed in my life. But I don't ask God for superficial things. {like a million dollars} I as Him to protect my children when I can't. And to keep them healthy.

I agree with some of the things that you said. But if you know the bible like I do. Than you would no that God looks out for the drunk and the fools.. If you never new God than how can you live. By his will. God had a plan for each and every one of us. Who are we to judge. That is Gods place.

GOd loves those who ask from him
if god doesnt gives you something u ask is ofcourse not good for you. example mother dosnt gives everything a child wants because she knows what to give and what not.
if god dosnt gives you something in this world he gives a reward in the heaven
sometimes when you ask something and god doesnt gives you, He actualy safegaurds you from someother problems that you dont know about, just because you have asked from Him

God is not some magic genie in the sky, there to give those who believe He's real whatever they desire. I think many blessings are probably withheld from us as we choose not to participate. (ie: ignoring the person who needs our help, not helping those who need help, etc.) I think God is ready, willing, and able to blessus with things of HIS choosing, with things that are important in HIS kingdom, not ours. Once we follow Him more closely, we deisre things of His kingdome more anyway.

I don't agree with you on this one. I don't think that God discriminates at all or divides us into believers and non-believers. I feel that God in pure unconditional love and answers all prayers, but it is we who don't understand how to accept or allow those answers into our lives.

I believe if our thoughts, beliefs, emotions, words and actions are primarily positive, our experiences will be positive, but if we emit negativity, we will receive it back also.
