THAT my friend is a tough call. If one has any doubts about taking it, he or she should not regardless of the cost to his or her self, because in the end, our lives are but flowers here for a time then gone - but our souls will be in danger once these bodies are cast off.

Is the Verichip (or smart cards or any RFID chips) the Mark of the Beast? I cant say with 100% accuracy -but I can say of all the things in this world that have been designated by many - THIS ONE comes the closest. Once in full swing, you can not work or buy or sell without this new Identity chip. Just as it says in Revelation chapter 13.

You can have it implanted anywhere on your body, or have a choice of a card (which you carry in your hand) - OR you might be given a password or ID number code to attach to your name as a possible alternative.

There is some talk (the technology exists and experiments have been going on) about a flat postage stamp RFID stamp almost as flat and flexible as a postage stamp that can be slipped under the skin of your forehead and there is a Tatoo circuit/chip process akin to this - which can not be seen except by scanner.

Some believe it is just another precursor to the Mark. Others believe that it is a system that the Antichrist will hijack or make use of when he appears as it would be a logical choice in keeping track of people.

Its a VERY tough call. It will not come in a way some believe as shown in silly old movies -like a brazen 666 tattoo. If it came in such an obvious means, then hardly anyone would be deceived. Even the secular and unbelieving would balk at taking this (some may for spite however).

All I can tell you is PRAY God direct your paths and give you wisdom enough to understand and do not just up and follow every little rumor as a spiritual truth.

I can tell you this; The Antichrist comes out of Islam, possibly as the Muslims awaited Mahdi. When he shows up at the Dome of the Rock, you will know. Any system this fellow sets up - avoid.

The trouble is - if he hijacks the Verichip or RFID system and people are already taking it IF he uses it, a whole lot of people are in trouble. SO PRAY AND PRAY HARD! Pray for Wisdom in how to survive and live during those days.

Our lives are in God's hands and many will die and be beheaded (Only Islam is known for beheading I might add). I believe this Antichrist will show anytime between now and no later than 3 years. He could show tomorrow.

BUT - take heart! From the moment he shows - we know that there will be 3 1/2 to 7 years after then Jesus will return and clean house. We have this assurance.

I don't know what the verichip is, but I do kow this. The mark of the beast (or antichrist) comes as a result of the antichrist rising to power, which is only after believers are raised to heaven, after Christ's 2nd return. So the mark has not been seen yet, as Christ has not returned yet.

Incidently, Revelations says the mark will be borne on top of the right hand or on the forehead. So unless the verchip goes there, it probably won't morph into the mark.

The Mark of the beast as the Bible portrays it will be either in the forehead or in the hand, one of both. God has a mark too, a seal you can find it in Revelation 7. The Mark of the beast in the forehead means simply that you believe it and in the hand means that you don't believe in it or really care but you follow the beast or work for or with it. The important thing is to find out who or what the beast is first then you will know what the mark will be. The confusion can be easily be sorted out with the Bible because it gives a description of the beast in Daniel and Revelation. It will change God's laws is one; and also it will persecute the saints of God. The final decision will be over religion and belief. Popular Religions will unite to stand with the beast and therefore those who follow God and his word - the Bible - will be persecuted severly - Revelation 13, and 14.

The verichip does not even need to be implanted in the body it can be on a watch or a piece of jewerly. it seems like if it were the mark of the beast it would have to be put in the hand or forehead

Perhaps it is the mark of the beast. The verichip one day might contain all of our banking account information. the best places one might say to inset a verichip is in the hand or forehead...right?

The bible says that the mark of the beast will be on the forehead or on the right hand. one cannot buy or sell without this mark.

sounds like it is the mark of the beast. but who knows what we are yet to see in the future.

More than likely something else. However the technology is there for whenever the mark will be used during the tribulation. I don't worry about the mark of the beast, because I don't plan on being here during the tribulation.

For Christians, the VeriChip surely has all the makings of the dreaded 666. Even for the non-religious such as myself, in my opinion it is an invasive piece of technology that I wish society would reject. I will certainly have no part of it.

I don't think so. I think the mark is going to be something you get that shows your allegiance to the anti-Christ. I think it will be something that clearly shows you believe in him.
