my life can be taken away at any moment, and living with this reality is what i call faith.
This is what jesus tells me as a christian, and am i right?

Faith?
It's like a 9-1-1 call. Someone reports a bomb is about go off inside an empty building.
Except it's not empty. A child is in a second floor apartment. Hearing sirens, he looks out the window at dozens of flashing lights from every imaginable kind of emergency vehicle. A crowd of onlookers peers up at the building. Policemen and firefighters yell out instructions as they seal off the area.
Suddenly, a woman screams. She points to an open window on the second floor. All eyes find it. They seea child, looking down on their horrified faces.
A man, whom many thought to be a loner, pushes out of the crowd and goes into the sealed-off area. He keeps walking until he's directly beneath the open window where the child is. With outstretched arms, he says, "Jump, Billy, I'll catch you. Trust me. It's okay. Jump."
The child turns away and looks around the room. No one is there to tell him what to do. He must decide for himself, unaware that just across the hall, a bomb will soon detonate.
It makes no sense to jump. But the child looks back down at the man and the flashing lights and the frantic crowd. His eyes settle on the one man.
"Please, Billy, I'll catch you."
So Billy jumps into his strong arms.
And safety.
There's the sound of an explosion.
But Billy's safe and still alive.

I don't think I understand the premise of your question. The reality that you can die any moment doesn't really take faith. It is assured.
It is actually the truth that sets you free ... that's what Jesus said.

Your faith will set you free only if it is the wright kind of faith. Jesus said, ´´Have faith in God´´ and ´´There´s one God and one mediator between God and man, Jesus Christ´´. A lot of people have fleshly faith, not the set you free kind. Faith is based on hearing, and hearing the word of God. Hope you´ve been helped!God bless you!!!
