And thou wilt find the nearest of them in affection to those who believe (to be) those who say: Lo! We are Christians. That is because there are among them priests and monks, and because they are not proud. When they listen to that which hath been revealed unto the messenger, thou seest their eyes overflow with tears because of their recognition of the Truth. They say: Our Lord, we believe. Inscribe us as among the witnesses

[Qur’an 5:82-83]

That is right in the Koran.

In Koran, it is also written that Isa (Jesus) is Almasih (Messiah/ Christ), and is from heaven. He leads a sinless life.

In Koran, it is also written that Isa Almasih will come again to judge the world. All these are the same as Bible. But they will never teach this part of Koran now.

Koran also said, if anything not clear, the Muslim need to ask the Christian (People of the Book), for they have the Word of God. Now? They kill the people of the book.

Sad.

The Bible doesn't say anything specifically about Islam because Mohammed didn't hit the scene until 500 years after the New Testament was written.

Muslims do hold Jews and Christians in special regard as having received revelations of God prior to the revelation of the Quran through Mohammed. However, they believe that Jews and Christians have mishandled those revelations to the point of their having created false religions for themselves, and that Islam is God's revelation of the true and final faith to which all humanity should and someday will convert. The passage from the Quran you quoted even implies that if Christians genuinely seeking truth should hear the message of Islam, then they will acknowledge Islam as the true religion and convert to Islam.

Of course, such a scenario could only be true of "Christians" who really don't subscribe to Christianity, as the major dogmas of Christianity (as explicitly written in the NT) are diametrically opposed to the major dogmas of Islam (as explicitly written in the Quran). To go from Christianity to Islam is not a progression from one faith to another but rather a total abandonment of one faith for another. Thus, the Quran's view of Christians is neither accurate nor reciprocated from a believing Christian's point of view.

The simple truth is that Islam, from the standpoint of Christianity (as presented in the NT), is a false religion, no matter how glowingly the Quran or today's Muslims may speak of Christianity or Christians, and no believing Christian would ever submit himself to Islam's yoke.

YES THE BIBLE DOES Say Something about Islam in Prophecy. But its not favorable. Keep in mind what I am about to show you was written some few THOUSAND years before Islam was birthed (Islam about 600-620 AD)

DANIEL 9:27..., the Arch Angel, Gabriel, shown the prophet, Daniel, an abominable temple sitting on a wing of the former Solomon's Temple (Temple Mount - just the foundations remain). And from that abominable temple comes "One who causes desolations" (the Antichrist).

The DOME OF THE ROCK, Mosque, currently resides RIGHT WHERE DANIEL RECORDS IT! In this mosque (temple) is a black moon-rock which Muslims kiss and reverence, in idolatry) Islam was predicted in effect and the Antichrist comes from Islam at this temple.

This is the only place Islam or anything "directly" related to Islam is recorded.

Also note that a trademark of the Antichrist is beheading (as recorded in the Book of Revelation). Of all the religions of the world TODAY (not in history) which one is best known for this trademark beheading? ISLAM!

Since day one that your bible was invented, islams want to see the Christian that way and continue to persucate them.
So why when people like you come and knock our doors and we preach the word of God, your mouth get full of air but nothing to say. Read the Scripture of the Lord True God:

For the Word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. Hebrews 4:12

It comes as no surprise that Satan's most desperate stratagem is to cast doubt on the veracity and authenticity of the Word of God. His first attempt in the Garden was, "Yea, Hath God said?"(5) It was all downhill from there.

And thus it continues to this day. We live in an age where pseudo-scholarship has made it fashionable to demean the Bible. Self-styled experts, with PhD's (and H2SO4's) behind their names, have disparaged, demeaned, and mutilated the sacred Scriptures in the mind of the uninformed. And yet, never before has there been more evidence of its true origin!

So I really don't care of you commond, because your words are written in the word of God.

I do not believe the Bible says anything directly about Islam. However, there is nothing in Christianity which precludes Islam. In fact, St. Paul is clear that Prophecy is one of the gifts of the Holy Spirit and will continue.

Interestingly, in the Holy Quran, at the end of time Jesus is resurrected, fights with Satan and throws him into the pit of hell. Sound familiar?

Oh... and the Quran DOES NOT, I SAY AGAIN... DOES NOT say to kill all non Muslims. That is nothing more than ignorant propaganda.

It's be difficult for the Bible to say much about Islam. There's about a 600-year gap there.

I know those quotes. They are fine words of tolerance (for some; not all) but the Qur'an is a little bit contradictory on the topic of other 'People of the Book' - other quotes are not quite so inclusive.

Yes, the Bible says that no man will get to the Father except through Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. Since Muslims do not recognize Christ as the Son of God and that he died on the cross for our sins and rose from the grave three days later, they will not inherit the Kingdom of Heaven.

First of all you are a born Muslim and posting question like i want to convert muslim and u pose to be a christian.
Are you up for another way of evangelising..Its alright to do it whatever religion it is.

But first you need to straighten your quran facts. Why do you oppress Your womens?
Why do all the terrorist acts based on the Name of mohammed,Like killing infidels because they are non muslims? Why do you people marry more than once? In christianity as long as you are married you cant marry second time, Church doesnt believe in divorce where as you need to say just 3 times divorce to ur wife and everything is over..I think whateva religion that preaches to kill in the name of religion is not a religion its a cult...You dont believe in forgiveness or forgiving..Instead eye for eye and tooth for a tooth...Christians believe in love faith and hope... Forgiving and loving your enemies..Can you muslims do that? if u say yes than there wont be a bigger liar than you cause every muslim whichever part of the world he/she is believes in revenge killing..
And destroying the people who dont believe in Islam...
SO IMPORTANT PART IS MUSLIMS SHOULD NEVER CONSIDER CHRISTIANS EVEN A MILE NEAR TO ISLAM.

Good approach. It is God who is telling us that Christian are closest to Muslims and this is very true. There are millions of Christians who do not hate Islam or Muslims with the exception of few who hate muslims because they will not understanding and tolerance.

Makes sense to me since we believe in the same God...who is the source of all Truth.

We might go around trying to find the Truth in different ways, or concentrate on different aspects of it, but that doesn't change the fact that God is THE Truth.
