That is, do you follow the rule, we can worship God in any way we want as long as it is not prohibited in scripture or we can worship God only according to the way prescribed in scripture?

absolutely! my worship is not for other people, and i dont care what they think. they dont know what i've been through and why i have reason to praise and worship. We worship how the Holy Spirit leads and it is actully encouraged in our church. Dont put God in a box. David danced in the nude (we dont encourage this in todays society) and his dancing was well pleasing to God

At our church we follow a general worship service, but I don't know about following the prescribed way in scripture ... the only prescribed way I know listed in the Bible is the worship of the Jews.

I don't know what a "regualitve prinicple" is.
In our church we all worhip God differently. As long as we worship God is the important clue. The Bible has no rules about HOW to worhip. It only says WORSHIP.
