A book written by man about some supposed 'miracles' is supposed to convince me? If I saw it with my own two eyes, maybe. Even then, who knows. There are plenty of people who have 'risen' from the dead, there are plenty of drugs out there that make your body SEEM to be dead, for a short period of time.
Well I do suppose ignorance is bliss.

Look at the reference to riches in Luke 16, verses 1 through 13. Now notice how the account describes the Pharisees in verses 14-18: “Now the Pharisees, who were MONEY LOVERS, were listening to all these things, and they began to sneer at him. 15 Consequently he said to them: “YOU are those who declare yourselves righteous before men, but God knows YOUR hearts; because what is lofty among men is a disgusting thing in God’s sight. 16 “The Law and the Prophets were until John. From then on the kingdom of God is being declared as good news, and every sort of person is pressing forward toward it. 17 Indeed, it is easier for heaven and earth to pass away than for one particle of a letter of the Law to go unfulfilled. 18 “Everyone that divorces his wife and marries another commits adultery, and he that marries a woman divorced from a husband commits adultery.”
And did you also notice the reference to divorce and adultery? Hmm, why is that in the middle of the account? For a very good reason.
Now he introduces the illustration of the RICH man and Lazarus. There is absolutely nothing in this illustration to suggest that the rich man was a terrible sinner or that the poor man Lazarus was a righteous person. There is nothing inherently sinful about being rich and nothing inherently righteous about being a sick beggar. This illustration is not describing that the rich man went to a bad place at death and the poor man went to a good place at death. This illustration is describing something much more profound. But if hell is a place of eternal torment and anguish, is it reasonable to believe that someone there could communicate with someone in heaven? If hell is a place of eternal torment and anguish, is it reasonable to believe that a mere drop of water could provide any appreciable relief from that torment as the account mentions?
The illustration or parable is not in reference to, Jesus’ death. It is illustrating the now changed condition of the group pictured by the rich man and the changed condition of the group pictured by the sick beggar, Lazarus. It is necessary to identify both groups to get the full understanding of the parable.

This advertisement for Christianity is typical of many: essentially, it says that the Bible is true because it is the Bible ["Read it for yourself its all there in black and white"].
There is no "evidence" for a resurrection. It is only something that is said to have happened. That it was believed and was written about as if it were a fact does not constitute proof.
You'll have to come up with something better than this to persuade people to your point of view.

You could be a preacher some day!! Great job. Jesus said he is the Way the Truth and the Life. No man cometh unto the Father but by me. Just to let you know buddy, the world has turned deaf ears to us Christians. The Bible says we will be "persecuted" for our beliefs- the world has hated Jesus before it's hated us, just remember that as you see some answers here. Keep living a life of testimony for others to see, but they are spiritually blind.

hi Bruce, the myth of the wealthy guy and lazurus replaced into in common words a parable. It did not genuinely ensue. Jesus used it to rebuke the non secular leaders of the day. a number of them believed in a literal hell so Christ replaced into telling them this tale to enable them know that if there replaced right into a hell, the non secular leaders should be those to go there. Lazarus represented the poor and needy that were handed over and mis-treated with the help of the non secular ones. we are not kept with the help of religion. we are kept with the help of God's grace. it ought to come by ability of religion, yet that's not of ourselves. that's the present of God so as that we are able to not boast.

Its true axeman. Some people are so determined to live their lives the way they want that they will close their eyes to all evidence. Even with all the miracles that Jesus performed, many eye witnesses refused to believe.

If I saw a dead person resurrected , I think that I would have to sever the head from the spinal cord . That is the only way to stop the undead !!!

It is my belief, (and yes, I'm a Christian) that God opens doors and windows and places people in our lives to open those closed minds throughout our lives. We have free will, and can make choices God would not wish us to make. We have the opportunity of telling others about how we live our lives, and we have the opportunity of concealing our faith. Currently, I'm waiting for the next door to open. Blessings to all!

Take Judas for example, he walked with Jesus each day and heard His teachings and witnessed His healings yet his heart was still hardened.

Well, it's all true, they have the prophets, let them listen to them. No one will come back from the dead to tell you to turn to God.
