Genocide - the deliberate and systematic destruction of a racial, political, or cultural group.

Xenocide - the deliberate and systematic destruction of an intelligent species.

Those sound like 5 star sins to me.

Hitler is evil for his attempted genocide of the Jews, yet God floods the Earth with the intent to kill everyone and is worshiped.

If you were God's lawyer, how would you defend him against these charges?

I have read that it does, but I want knowledgeable folks to give me more information in this matter, please. I want to tell others some real facts. I believe what the Bible says, but some interpret things to suit them. I really appreciate all intelligent answers.

Seriously though, all of you who dont believe in God, who dont believe that Jesus died for you sins, who dont believe that He created the earth and everything in it for His glory and enjoyment? how can you say that it was all a coincidence, that it was a big bang? I am not trying to insult, nor am i looking for any mean or snide remarks, just a question and perhaps a educated discussion with someone

Do you believe in any of this:
The bible is 100% correct in the doctrine teaching
The bible is to be the only word of god
That God cannot give revelation today
That there cannot be a prophet today.
That we can't be given any more scripture, the the bible is all we got and all we'll ever get.
That God gave people prophets all the way through history until the time we need it most.
That miracles no longer happen.

If you do, how?

Mine:
A man dies and is met by an angel in heaven who leads him through a series of buildings with long halls and lots of doors. As they pass one, the man hears music and laughter and looks at the angel as if to ask, "what's in there?". The angel says, "Take a look." Inside he sees a bunch of Buddhists all enjoying a big party.

Wow, this is great!, thinks the man. The next door holds a bunch of partying Jews, the next a bunch of fun loving Muslims and on and on seeing every group from Earth down the hall. The man is really excited!

A bit further along he reaches for a door and the angel makes a "sssh!" finger to mouth gesture and guides him quietly past the door. When they are far enough away he asks the angel, what was in there?

"That's the Christian Fundamentalists. They think they're the only ones here."

I mean, he was the SON of GOD, right? and he was here to spread HIS message of Love and all that right?

well, if i was trying to get people to follow my lead, i'd write something down on paper to pass out and to spread the word. ESPECIALLY if the word i was spreading was the word of the Lord...

I don't know, it just doesn't make sense to me that only 4 people wrote about the life of Jesus, and then only after he was dead.

There has to be more we haven't heard, and i'm willing to bet that Jesus DID write SOMETHING down....ANYTHING...

cause i mean, MY Jesus is literate.

And i'm not atheist or anything so don't take the wusses way out and say i should go to hell or i'm an idiot cause i'm not. How would you prove me wrong? you can't. You can't use the bible to authenticate the bible, so don't. I don't use Harry Potter to try to prove the existence of wizards do i?

I was looking at my brothers the other day as they walked about the house without their shirts on. I saw HAIR ALL OVER THEIR BACKS AND CHESTS. I mean WOAA!! They are so hairy! I began to consider the unthinkable! Could I have been kidnapped by a primate hit and run thingie and secretly inserted into the hairy fold here at my family? I immediatly thought of my own different ways from theirs. Im smooth with very little body hair at all. After I accepted Jesus I immediatly became top of my class and was in college when I turned 15. I made top grades in computer school and have completed special counseling course training at Princeton. The more I worship Jesus Im a whiz at para legal work for my Dads company. I have frequent flashbacks of being held captive and programed at a neo-atheist camp but slipping away and escaping at feeding time. Ther clincher is we were at the zoo and the gorilla shouted to my brother " Luke! I am your father ! He slid away yelling " no!!! plz advize me guys..

This is a question for believers, obviously. I'm just curious if you interpret the Bible literally. I mean, there are some stories in the Bible that would be considered impossible by today's standards: i.e. the Creation story of Adam and Eve, Jonah being swallowed by a whale, Noah's ark, people living for hundreds of years, etc.

I was raised Catholic and currently go to a Catholic high school so I have read the bible many times. We are taught in class that some of those stories are simply metaphors that represent God's message, and that some stories might've been corrupted when they was passed down through many generations.

So: do you believe that those stories represent actual events?

humans were created in the image of a supernatural being. it is the most irrational thing i have ever heard. there is absolutely no evidence for this idea, except the bible, a book thousands of years old writting by humans. thats not a valid source of information.

evolution is so much more rational. we have caused evolution in bacteria and small animals in labratories, so we know it happens. sure, it has holes, but you cant possibly find all links in an organisms evolutionary chain, can you? thats almost impossible.

i am not insulting anyones faith. i just want to understand why you would believe in something like that, so dont all get mad and stuff.

I had a dream last night that my cross earring was missing while looking in mirror...woke up in middle of night to feel if it was there..it was...well, I just got out of shower and while brushing hair, noticed that earring was missing....it fell out in shower.....I've also dreamed of pets dying and within days , they did....and other dreams have come true...why is this??

When ever the questions on here are about evolution, and clearly rhetorical questions which debunk creation science, theres always a backlash of people who ask their rhetorical questions which imply that evolution is used by Satan and Nazis.

Essentially, the portrait intended by these questions is that an evolutionist is evil.

Do you notice how creationists don't make valid scientific points, but merely attack the evolutionist as somehow evil, or satanic, or that nazis used the theory of evolution and therefor evolutionists are all evil nazi satanists.

In other words, have you kept the 10 commandments? Have you ever lied? How about Murdered? Actually the Bible even says to hate someone is to be a murderer. Ever Had sex outside of Marriage? Or even look at someone with lust? that is called adultery, according to the Bible. Ever used God's name in vain? Have you honored your parents? Have you kept God first in life? Have you made a God to suit yourself? that is called idolitary.

The Bible says that if we have offended the law in one point, we have broken the whole law. We are all guilty. We have all sinned. And God, who is just, must punish us. We all are on our way to hell. But Godhas given us a gift. Jesus is willing to pay your fine. All you have to do is repent of your sins and ask Jesus to save you from them. Trust in him for salvation. Please consider this, and if you accept the gift praise God! I have accepted it and I am on my way to heaven. How about you?
