I personally believe that the bible, being created by man (who is imperfect) not to mention the fact that most of it was only written down a few hundred years after the original authors died, and the fact that different churches have the power to supress the bits they don't like, (not saying that definetly happened, just that it's possible) and the fact that it has gone through so many translations over the years... no, not 100% correct. I believe the bible is there to give us a guideline as to how to decide what we believe, and how God would like us to live. But I also think that God would be dissapointed if we didn't excercise that free will and intelligent thought He gave us.. I honestly don't believe that every person has the same truth- no two people can have the exact same beliefs, because no two people are exactly alike. Also, we have to take into consideration that that which was written 2000+ years ago was written from the perspective of people who were confined by the beliefs, knowledge and laws of the time (by the laws I don't mean they were prevented from writing things they wanted to, I mean that certain things that were official laws back then were considered devine mandate... often times laws and "spiritual commandments" were considered the same thing) For instance- in many of our english translations, homosexuality is directly called an 'abomination', although 1. they had no concpet of 'homosexuality' as we know it today- they saw only two 'straight' men going against their nature and sleeping together and 2. the word that was translated as 'abomination' actually means (in the original context) "something forreign, and unknown"- i.e. something not practised or accepted by that specific writer's community.
I'm referencing that example not to make a political point but because it's the only specific example I personally know of. But I'm sure there must be others.
Which is why- live your lifw by your own moral standards. If you believe something is wrong, don't do it. God will judge you according to what your intent was during your life (at least, thats what I believe)
whew. Rant over;-) Good question.

i believe some of it. the bible is correct it is the only word of God but God can do what ever he wants so he can give revelation and there are people who prophesi. we wont be given any more scrpture bc Thte bible says let no man take away or add to this word meaning the word of god. Also we dont need it most now. they needed more then bc they didnt have 10 copies of the bible. Also most of the prohesing in the old test. was about the messiah who already came. And i am a miracle. He did and is doing many miracles in my life and all those who are his own. Some just dont see. Good questions though.

Bible 100% - yes
Bible only word of God - Yes
God - no revelation today - No
God -no prophet today - No- the two Witnesses are coming as told in Bible
Bible all complete - Yes
Prophets thru history - No - God sent them before they were needed, people just did not listen
Miracles - happen everyday, some small, yes some big.
I have faith in God. I see that OT prophecies in regards to Jesus fulfilled, I see the prophecies in OT and NT happening all around me. I believe revelations are given, maybe not as detailed and enormous as Johns in the book of Revelations, but still, I think got gives visions and meaning filled dreams to people as warnings or answers. I have experienced miracles, some small, some for me, large.

No, how could the bible be correct if there's so many version of it? First the Catholic, the Protestans, the Mormons, the Lutheran. By the way it is also written by people, like the king James version, The Anglican church version. I believe in God, but the bible I doubt that the whole story of God is in there.
Reason I said this, I was born Catholic, and I was told that I need to go to confessions, which I don't think it's right. So, I do believe in God, but I don't know if the bible can be trusted to be 100% correct.

Well I believe the Bible 100%! God doesn't use prophets anymore because mostly they prophecied the comming of Christ & what happens if you turn from God. They didn't have a Bible back then to look on examples of those past. We know what will happen if we don't repent, & ask Jesus to save us. We know what is going to happen in the end (Revalations) and we know Jesus already came & That No one knows of his return, - so why do we need prophets?
And yes there are still miracles today! They are too numurous to list!

I believe that if God chose for it to happen, there could be miracles and scriptures today. I don't believe that the Bible is 100% accurate (being written after the facts - and by human beings). I'm not even sure that there are no prophets today - although they may be sitting in mental hospitals - as people would assume (in these days) that they were mentally ill.

I do agree with most, but I don't agree that "God gave people prophets all the way through history until the times we need them most" that's not true, the prophets were given because there were no Bible to rely on, we now have God's own word. we don't need someone to tell us who God is, we know from reading and studying his OWN word. and miracles still happen, everyday. just because you don't see them, doesn't mean that they aren't there. unlike God, you can't be everywhere at all times to see all that is going on.
example: ask the man that was just healed from cancer and doctors have no explanation. ask the family that is in financial ruin, yet they find money in the mailbox to cover the bills and have money left over to buy food. ask the couple who prayed for a child and found out they are having twins. ask me, who had a niece that wasn't suppose to live one day, yet she lived 21 years, and doctors couldn't figure out how or why.
what does God have to do to prove that miracles still exist?

I believe God's word, yeah.
Oh, and there still will be revalations/prophecies/visions. The Bible says that, in the last days, the old men will dream dreams and the young men will see visions (or something like that).
Oh, and I see miracles all the time. My life is a miracle, and so is yours. There are so many miracles happening all the time. Just keep your eyes and ears open.

I was taught all those things growing up, but now that I am out on my own and able to do my own research, I'm not so sure I believe all of that anymore. The only thing you mentioned that I was taught differently is that miracles no longer happen. I was taught that miracles still happen today, but Jesus does not come down in a form to personally administer or they aren't as dramatic as mentioned in the Bible.
