Because Christianity is the only religion soley based on someone else in control.

Nobody wants to belive they have to answer to someone else & that they can't do it all themselves (Heaven, Salvation etc)

Men/Mankind does NOT want to have to be accountable for the decisions they make or the lifestyle they live.

It's a combination of Fear & Pride (Remember pride before the fall).

The larges religion in the world is the church of the ignorant brothers. 1 Thessalonians 4: 13 But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. They don't study the the scriptures to know that we are living in the age of grace. Jesus Christ did it all for those that would believe and trust in what He done on the cross. He died for your sins. 2 Timothy 2: 15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

Lol, The "P.C." movement's gotten out of control. Folks say "merry xmas, happy hannukah," etc. There'll ALWAYS be someone ready to bellyache about it. I like to point out that some creeds, forbid ANY holidays. so to be P.C. one would have to say
"Happy holidays, if you're philosophy specifies such, or lack there-of if you're system of values precludes celebration."
I know I'm glossing over the "christian" part of the question. It's simply the same phenomenon. Christianity being the most common, and most "aggresive" in preaching, is the most obviouse name to use.

Who ever said christianity is the number one religion? In terms of population christianity might very well ne number three. There are 1 billion muslims, 1 billion hindus, 1 billion buddhists, 1 billion christians, 2 billion of many other religions. Which is Numero Uno?

People argue against Christians because they do not believe the things that Christians believe. A lot of people argue because Christians are divided into so many denominations (Catholic, Lutheran, Baptist, etc) and they see this as a contradiction. But its not only Christians, people argue with Muslims, Jews, etc. People judge what they don't understand.

First of all using "Y'' for "why" is not cute.

Second of all, some people REALLY DO THINK that a historically innacurate depiction of a corpse nailed to a peice of wood is gross,
bizarre,etc.

Why are you whining about other people's rights?

And yes, other religions are questioned equally with the vulgarity that is christianity.

You sound overly self-important to me.

Um, people argue about all religions, especially Islam right now. I don't know why you think that no one cares about other religions. As long as there are different religions (forever) people will argue because everyone thinks their beliefs are right.

It's just the way things are, and it is more than likely the way they are going to stay. Personally, I actually kind of like being persecuted. It adds to the knowledge that I'm standing for something important.

Poor, poor opressed Christians. It's a shame, really, that not everything in the world caters to them. Makes me sad.
