Firstly God isn't supposed to be perfect. He is perfect!
He did create people perfect as well. Remember he told the man not to touch the fruit of the tree of knowledge of good and evil. Ok so you ask the question why then did he give him a choice? Do you want to be a robot? Do you want to live a life without the ability to make choices. Or do want to live a life knowing God allows us to make decisions on our own. The problem is we make the wrong ones. He told the Man not too touch because the day he would he would die. What does the idiot do he touches the fruit.
This is just like telling a child not to touch the fire because it will get burned. Sadly the child probably will touch it and will learn the hard way. The really sad thing is people think man made the right choice. Actually imagine what life would have been like if that fruit was never picked?

Good Question!
There is an aspect of you that is Perfect.
Another that is Pure but not perfect.
And the last is an aspect that is imperfect and needs work to become one with its original pure and perfect aspect.
So in essence you, the same as anyone else, are perfect but you also have the capacity to make choices. Once you have choices and make decisions you create your life second after second which can make this imperfect aspect of you closer or further away from your perfect essence.
Don't believe anything you hear, use your discrimination and research for yourself into the matter.

He created our original parents-Adam and Eve. They had perfect health, never was to die and would like under gods love for eternity. They sinned and thus we have sin. It is likened to baking bread. When you make bread, you need a mold to make a loaf. When that mold gets a dent or imperfection, then the rest of the loafs come out imperfect and with that dent. So if Adam and Eve didn't want to be like God, then we would all be in a Paradise earth free of crime, hunger, pain and suffering.

God hasn't changed his intentions, he still plans on humans to live under those arrangements. See Psalms 37:11,

I don't know, but I think that, if Adam and Eve sinned when they ate the forbidden fruit, because they wanted to be equal to God, if they would have been perfect, they very likely would have been very, very much proud and arrogant. And a sin that is especially unpleasant to God is pride

We were created to be in God's image spiritually and we were perfect. Once Satan deceived Eve in the Garden of Eden, we became imperfect.

Adam and Eve were to spend eternity walking and talking with God in the Garden of Eden. Once Eve was deceived, all of that changed and God then set a plan into motion whereby His children would be able to make the choice to serve and follow Him or serve and follow Satan.

Once Eve ate of the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil, she and Adam were removed from the Garden of Eden, not to be punished, but to prevent them from eating from the Tree of Life.

By eating from the first tree, our spirits died and were in a state of sin. By eating of the Tree of Life, that condition would exist forever because then our life would be of sin and there would be no way to redeem God's children.

God's plan now is a plan of reconciliation of all of His children back to him prior to the period of Tribulation and Second Coming.

Good question. You inadvertently asked a very complex theological question but a good, thought provoking one.

He didn't create us individually. We evolved, he just gave us a helpful push from 'pretty much monkey' to 'pretty much man'.

The so called Holy books were written by men, so they're fallible.

And rubbish, anyone tries telling me that the pain of childbirth is all my own fault because my great(x100000000000000) grandmother ate an apple wants a slap.

We are perfect - I don't see any humans who might have evolved different organs, or for that matter any humans who are still evolving from monkeys (although some on these questions appear that they might have!)

God made us perfect - our sense organs have not needed any tweaks or replacements.

If it is illness, disease or deformities you are concerned about then this is due to man not obeying God's commandments.

God is perfect and without sin.
The Bible says we were made in HIS IMAGE.
There is just one difference, though:
MAN was made to have the 'power of choice'.
MANKIND is the only creation that was made this way.
God did not give us a 'robot' mentality.
God gave us the ability to CHOOSE if we want to worship and obey Him or not.
And we made the wrong choice in Genesis 2.

If we were created perfect we would have lost our freedom.
GOD in HIS Greatness created us FREE, free to choose, good or bad, this way or that way, up or down, etc..
Being perfect you have no freedom to choose.
Love your imperfection and love your freedom and thank GOD for it.

As soon as Adam and Eve ate the apple.... we all turned imperfect.. then Jesus gave us the hope of living in a perfect paradise earth when he died for us...it will be here soon... but we just have 2 wait for it.
