I had a dream last night that my cross earring was missing while looking in mirror...woke up in middle of night to feel if it was there..it was...well, I just got out of shower and while brushing hair, noticed that earring was missing....it fell out in shower.....I've also dreamed of pets dying and within days , they did....and other dreams have come true...why is this??

why is this? One of the great questions of all time.
But it happens. Sometimes when you see something or something happens around you you get that overwhelming feeling of deja vu and at once you remember a dream you had the night before. Other times the dream is vivd and you think about it all day and then at some point what you saw in the dream happens.
These happen to me from time to time. When I say time to time I mean that when these type of dreams happen and I remember them they seam to happen during certain periods and the occurrences are lumped together. Other spans in which this does not happen (which I seem more comfortable with) last longer and may go on for several years before they begin to happen again.
I attribute the periods of activity in precognitive dreams to be attributable to, and coinciding with, periods when my mind is more receptive spiritually or subconsciously. Knowing how and why is and always will be far beyond the realm of my knowledge.

That's bizarre. I thank God mine don't come true. The other night I dreamed that the sweet girl upstairs was shot in a horrible school shooting. She's so sweet and I have no idea why I would dream such a thing. She's not even in school anymore. Like I said before, I'm really glad that my dreams DO NOT come true.

God is pouring out His Spirit and people are seeing visions and having dreams. It's God's way of getting our attention. I have had an increase of dreams and visions just this year.
Of course my Pastor's new year message encouraged us to pray in the Spirit every morning and have the oil in our lamp full. And I have been obedient because Jesus is coming back soon.
People are filled with the Spirit after they have believed in Jesus Christ the Lord. They are praising God, in love with God, and the Holy Spirit fills them. There are visual signs of this. Praising God with praise filled words. Praising God in unknown language. Prophesying, etc.....
Dreams are sometimes prophetic. They could warn that someone is in danger (like in a ditch and can't get out). They could let you know that God is in control when you go through some storms of life in the near future.
When a dream happens that is clear and seems to mean something, pray asking God, in Jesus name, "what does this mean?". The interpretation will come to mind, or something will happen and you will know how to respond or help.

I've dreamed that the lights will go out and the power would go out the next day. Also about people I have not seen in a long, long time and I would hear from them or run into them the next day. I don't know why it happens but it's freaky!

Many of these are what psychologists call, "false memories." Dreams that contain similar events are recalled in greater detail once that similar event occurs. However, their mind "fills in the gaps" and creates a false memory. It's like de ja vu for the dream.

I have the same things happen to me all of the time. The only person who doesn't think that I am crazy is my husband. I have day dreams that become real as well.

...there are many types of dreaming, according to Robert Moss. From what you say, if it were my dream, I'd think that you are having clairvoyant dreams...where you can see ahead in time. There are many other ways of dreaming consciously. Check out his book, Conscious Dreaming, By Robert Moss. He's pretty awesome.

I believe that dreams can be warnings. it is weird and hard to believe but i have had dreams that came true. or at least partially true
