All right I am religous and do believe in God. However I need help understanding something.
Every year there are nearly a million legal abortions done. There are thousands and thousands of children put up for adoption. Thousands taken away from their parents. Millions abused. These people did not want their children. They did not want to be parents. They were not trying to get pregnant. Yet they did...
And then there are thousands of people trying to have children. They are mentally stable.They want nothing more to have a family. They would be good parents. Yet they are not able to have children yet.
I really want to keep my faith in God but want to make sense out of this. Why do people who do not want them have children...and why not bless the people that want them and the children they would love with them?
I know some things we dont have the answer for and there is just a reason for everything. But this one really does not fall into place for me.

i remember seeing something as a child and it is still so clear in my mind. i was standing in my grand mother's hallway and she had a floor heater. the kind where the vents are in the floor and they blow upward. i used to stand over it and let the heat blow up my night gown when it was cold. anyway, her hall was shaped like a big square and rooms were on every wall. well, a wall was blocking the view from the heater to the dark living room and i leaned backwards and looked into her living room and right before my eyes, close enough to touch there stood a little boy. he smiled at me and just stood there. i leaned back up then leaned back and he was gone. i was not afraid but i never forgot. the weird thing was that he looked like a little Jewish boy dressed in traditional clothing with the little yarmulke on his head. he had dark golden skin and slanted eyes. at that time i had never seen anyone who looked like him. it was just weird. i did not know about different cultures just us black folks and the white people on TV! LOL what do you think of this?

I am a christian .. and i have noticed quite a few msgs that rebuke muslims and islam ... why is it so ... are we threatened by it ... after all neither have our ancestors been saints when they went to spread the word... they too used the sword..

besides us hating islam isnt quite followin christianity .. we are judging an entire community by the actions of a few ... the way we judge so shall we be judged

There are fundamentalist religious people,
there are fundamentalist non-religoius people,

These fundamentalists believe there is no new knowledge that can be learned, its either all in a science book or all in the Bible or all in the Qu'ran.

There are religious people whose views will change based on new things they learn,
There are non-religious people whose views will change based on new things they learn.

They believe they can learn more through expiriments.

I was told the physic mediums basically do the devils work and was given 2 quotes out of the bible from the book of colossians. But Ive gone to a physic....and of course i dont feel this way at all. I hope the god I believe in is not as judgemental as our society has become. They say they are said to be false profits and are lead by the dark angles...physic mediums do the devils work. I want to beable to defend my reasoning and have not been able to find any information regarding my point of view except those who like to preach that this is dangerious territory and that god will condem me.

If we assume that human evolution continues in a similar fashion does it follow that we will simply evolve into a supreme being rather than being formed by one ? I guess this means that humans could already have evolved into a "god" once before and then created existence as we know it .......

Islamic history tells that prophet Muhammed asscended to the sky from Aqsa Mosque. However, the same Islamic history tells that this mosque was built 50 years AFTER the death of prophet Muhammed. Does this mean that by the time prophet Muhammed carried out his miraculous journey, the Aqsa mosque was still an abandoned synagog? if so, why did prophet Muhammed use the name "mosque" and not "synagog"?

Why isn't the punishment for the death of a fetus the same as for the death of a person? It was punished with a fine! (Even people who had sex with animals were given capital punishment.)
