i remember seeing something as a child and it is still so clear in my mind. i was standing in my grand mother's hallway and she had a floor heater. the kind where the vents are in the floor and they blow upward. i used to stand over it and let the heat blow up my night gown when it was cold. anyway, her hall was shaped like a big square and rooms were on every wall. well, a wall was blocking the view from the heater to the dark living room and i leaned backwards and looked into her living room and right before my eyes, close enough to touch there stood a little boy. he smiled at me and just stood there. i leaned back up then leaned back and he was gone. i was not afraid but i never forgot. the weird thing was that he looked like a little Jewish boy dressed in traditional clothing with the little yarmulke on his head. he had dark golden skin and slanted eyes. at that time i had never seen anyone who looked like him. it was just weird. i did not know about different cultures just us black folks and the white people on TV! LOL what do you think of this?

Doubt it was a hallucination. Especially if you were younger. Kids are more prone to see ghosts. It sounds like your grand-ma might have had a friendly little Jewish boy as her home's guardian. Don't check yourself in, I had something similiar happen to me. It happens to TONS of kids.

I would say maybe a ghost because a hallucination wouldn't be that clear. Also, it could have been a realistic dream you are remembering. I once had a dream when I was younger that I was playing with this one toy. The next day I had to ask my mom if we owned the toy because I couldn't figure out if it was a dream or a memory. The reason I dont think its a hallucination is I once woke up to our alarm system going off and I freaked out because I thought someone broke in. I looked down our hallway into the guest bedroom and I clearly saw a lamp get knocked over -- but there was never a lamp there at all. I think my mind was racing that someone was in the house so it saw my worst fear. If you just glanced over not freaking out or anything I don't think you had a hallucination that clear.

It could have been a ghost, but especially since you are recounting a story from your childhood, a lot of details may have changed that you didn't know you were changing. You may originally have seen just a shape, and then as time went, your desire to see something changed it to seeing what you describe. It happens a lot, which is why police and investigators have trouble getting actual facts even just weeks after an event happens.
You could have seen it though, and if you did, good for you. Very few people can actually claim it.

OMG..that is so cool. I believe you. One night when I was real sick. I was lying in my room in the dark. I swear to god...I could hear whispering, many whispers. Also, shadows of people crossing the room. I could see their shapes. I was so freaking out. I kept getting out of bed and trying to scare away what I thought were my kids playing jokes on me. I must have got up 15 or so times. I was not scared but, It was the most freaky thing ever. There were atleast 10 or so shapes walking thru each other. I even saw the shape of a man in a overcoat..It was like he was looking at me but talking to someone else. If I ever get sick again...I hope that happens again.

Ghost

I think he is one of your ancestors, not a hallucination! Don't ignore spirit beings, or they won't come back! That's such a lucky thing to have. You should always remember that, don't forget it. If you feel that the spirit was a good spirit, then don't forget him. He could be guiding you and helping you throughout your life. In our minds, we know what is real and what is not, you can judge.

Ghost are not real when people die they rest in the ground until Jesus returns a second time. However, there are fallen angels that manifest themselves as people who have died but they are spirits of demons. They will come to those who they think they can deceive, chase them away with the name of Jesus Christ.

Maybe it was a spirit passing threw. I have seen one one time, but she wasnt happy and she was wearing nothing but white. I was 16 at the time and I had just got home from work and it was pretty late. I had the same feeling wasnt scared but a calm feeling.

I know what you mean. I think it's a hallucination and that ghosts aren't real. What helps is praying. And yeah I know how it feels because of that feeling I was afraid of the dark. My story is related to yours.

A spirit....I have several friends that have experienced that. One saw his deceased grandma apparently clear as day. One other friend had a physical tussle with a demon spirit in the back of a camper, called out the name of Jesus and it left....
