Does this fall into the category of "why do bad things happen to good people"? I understand your question completely and have asked that same question myself. In time you come to accept what happens, good and bad, as out of your hands. Everything in life is a lesson and we just have to try to see what it is that God is trying to get us to learn. I don't question God's wisdom, I just ask him to help me see what it is he trying to teach me. Maybe those people who cannot have children are there to make a home for those children who do not have parents. Trust in God's wisdom, his will is always done. Accept what he gives you and learn from it. This may not answer your question, but it is the best explanation I can give you.

Well, everything happens for a reason. God has the master plan and a lot of the times, only He knows the reason behind these seemingly horrible things that occur in today's society. He gave us freedom of choice, the people who are having abortions, think about what kind of parents they could be. That child may be better off in God's arms than with people who may do horrible evil cruel things to the 'unwanted' said child. As far as the people who want children and appear completely stable and haven't had their own children, they can adopt the ones that have been abandoned, given up, or taken away. They just are making the selfish choice of wanting thier own flesh and blood and not thinking of blessing a child with a family to love them and care fot them. All of the answers to your question lie in the question itself if you just rearrange the order. It's hard to look at things that way sometimes, but it's the only way to get through life without driving yourself crazy. As much as we might like to, we can't save the world or people who don't want to be saved. I personally just concentrate on being the best person God has created me to be and help who I can as much as I can along the way. God puts certain people in our lives for many different reasons. Maybe that's why I'm here today. If nothing else, maybe something I said in this long answer helped someone make a decision, if not, I hope I helped answer your question or at the very least, give you another angle to look at it from. Hope you have a blessed day!

Maybe those not able to have are being used as a blessing to adopt and love the little ones born to those who do not want or are abusive to children. God has a reason for everything, we may not always understand them. Satan is the maker of bad and evil things in this world, and unfortunately, back to Adam and free will and choosing to disobey God, the generations are left with the unleashed devil to contend with. God takes the bad and evil that Satan does and turns it to good for those who ask and have faith. You may not think that not being able to have a child biologically, yet being able to adopt is a blessing, but really it is two blessing. One to the parents adopting, one to the child. How wonderful is it that God gives a person the ability to have a heart for a child that is not biologically theirs.
Also, you don't know that the inability may be protecting the person unable in some way. What if the person would, because of their make-up, have difficulty to carry the child and endanger the child or themselves? Maybe the hormones produced during pregnancy would endanger that person somehow.
I know, kinda far off scenarios, but you never know. I am sure there are reasons, these people may understand one day, or maybe not. Regardless, God is in control for the good of all that will place their trust in him.

This situation was not of God's making. Humans regulate the adoption system.
If God is all-knowing and all-powerful, why does He let bad things happen in this world? This is a controversial question which many people have tried to answer. The most common answer is: We don't know the ways of the Lord; His ways are not our ways.
I don't particularly like this answer, so the best thing I can say is that God gave us free will, knowing that we may screw it up, but also knowing that it was the right thing to do.
Perhaps He put people like you on this earth to change all that, to reform the adoption system, and to educate children to recognize when they're being abused and how to get out of it. Worrying about it won't change anything; action will. God bless.

Boy you hit the nail on the head! Abortion is legal in the U.S. (considered a fundamental right by the Supreme Court). To many it is a convenience, although GENERALLY not without some degree of soul-searching and often regret. I suppose that the time frame mitigates against going for the adoption. Also, when a women has carried a baby to term, it apparently becomes MUCH harder to give it up, even if it would have a better life. If it were not so easy, I suspect that more children would be available for adoption.

You have to separate a couple of things. And that is...many things done by people are not necessarily what God would have us do. We cannot blame God for the sins that we commit.
Remember, we live in a fallen world. We have a sin nature and we sin. God allows sin right now...but there will be a day when Jesus will rule and reign on earth.
Don't blame God for the cruelty that people perform on each other, and even on themselves. Ever since Adam and Eve sinned in the garden of Eden, it's like a snowball effect; sin entered the world and it's gathering speed. Trust God; trust His word, and His promises. There will be a time when all things will be made right, swords will be made into plowshares and there will be no more of these terrible things happening.

God gave people a free will and a brain to use. Some will use it constructively and some will use it destructively.
As to fertility issues, there are many non-religious reasons things happen as they do.
1. We are still biological creatures and imperfect. Survival of the fittest was nature's plan. Not being able to breed is one way nature stops those it feels are genetically inferior from breeding.
Note..this is biology, mother nature apparently doesn't take actual intelligence, maturity or ability to nuture into account!
2. Many who are infertile are paying for choices they have made earlier in life. Things like delaying pregnancy until their 30's or beyond, or sexual activity that led to STDs.
3. A lot of people alive today were probably not genetically meant to be even be alive, let alone breed. Better medical care and interventions like C-sections have done wonders for keeping humans alive longer. If not for medicine, there would be fewer humans breeding.
4. As to abuse and neglect, well quite frankly our society has deemed that anyone whose body will let them can breed, and breed as often as they choose, regardless of their ability or desire to parent. We discourage options like adoption (which in my opinion as a member of a family with an adoptee) is an extremely LOVING thing for a mother who feels she can't do best by her baby.
If adoption were more socially acceptable more of these kids would be available to loving families that can't conceive.
As to abortion, it remains a necessary evil lest there be even MORE irresponsible, incompetent and dangerous parents raising and abusing even more children.
God has given humans the minds and free wills to use as they choose. Some is good, some is bad.
Most of what is done by and for children in this country reflects our society's choices.

I will give you this story to think about, I hope it helps.
A man went to a barber shop to have his hair and his beard cut as always. He started to have a good conversation with the barber who attended him.
They talked about so many things and various subjects. Suddenly, they touched the subject of God. The barber said: "Look man, I don't believe that God exists as you say."
"Why do you say that?" asked the client.
"Well, it's so easy, you just have to go out in the street to realize that God does not exist. Ok, tell me. If God existed, would there be so many sick people? Would there be abandoned children? If God existed, there would be no suffering nor pain. I can't think of loving a God who permits all of these things."
The client stopped for a moment thinking, but he didn't want to respond so as to cause an argument. The barber finished his job and the client went out of the shop. Just after he left the barber shop he saw a man in the street with long hair and a beard (it seems that it had been a long time since he had his hair cut and he looked untidy).
Then the client again entered the barber shop and he said to the barber: "You know what? Barbers do not exist."
"How can you say they don't exist?" asked the barber. "I am a barber and here I am."
"No!" the client exclaimed. "They don't exist because if they did there would be no people with long hair and beards like that man who walks in the street."
"Ah, barbers do exist. What happens is that people do not come to me."
"Exactly!"- affirmed the client. "That's the point. God does exist! What happens is people don't go to Him and do not look for Him. That's why there's so much pain and suffering in the world."
God Bless you.

The person screen named kero_bearus is obviously a lost soul, she constantly attack the forum with her silly remarks. This is a forum for religion and spirituality if you are not interested in religion or spirituality leave people who do alone.
Back to the question, I do not blame God for any of the things going on in this world. Some of the people we see suffering will be the ones allowed into the kingdom of Heaven. Things happen for us to grow spiritually. As Christians when we see others in need we are supposed to step up and help, when we see children abused we are supposed to help. I have stopped trying to understanding why things occur, but I have started asking myself, What can I do to make things better? How can I better serve my Lord and Savior by helping his creation(man) live a life fulfilling to him? How can I as a Christian help to improve the life of the oppressed? Not believing and doubting will never make it better only worse. All things can be made better through constant prayer.

All little things turn into one big mess when it is all happening at the same time. But we are all individuals.
Yet, at the same time, we all come from the same spirit. We are God experiencing life, as each seperate being.
What is perfect? If everything was perfectly nice, would that really be perfect?
Life is just crazy life. All of our experiences, good and bad, all of this world, good and bad - is our life experience. Some will go through hell, their will be great injustice, there is balance and inbalance. It all seems so unfair.
Perhaps after a 1000 years in heaven living in complete fair and nice and 'perfect', you will be begging to come back here to feel the unfair, to feel loss, to feel frustrated and angry and sad.
