I love my husband, but because of his illness and depression, our relationship is platonic. Not my idea, he's just overwhelmed. The doctors say there is no physical limitation. He's seen two counselors who think he's making progress. Once every year or so, doesn't seem like progress to me.

I won't be unfaithful, but I am lonely. And I honestly don't know what to do about that.

How do you decrease or redirect that drive?

I really hate feeling like this, and I have no idea what to do.

The marriage I hoped for is no longer a possibility. How do I grieve it and move on with my husband without dying inside?

How can you make yourself honestly okay with something you would never choose?

I find myself just shutting down, and I don't want to do that. But when I'm open and vulnerable I end up angry with him and I cry a lot. I know that just makes him feel guilty on top of his depression, and I hate that. What makes the loneliness go away?

How does God heal the loneliness?

I was baptized under the christian religion against my own beliefs, is there a way to
un-baptize someone? I didn't ask for this to be done to me - I was only an infant!

I know first I have to believe a man is God, then I have to disregard all scientific fact and place all my belief in text written 2000 years ago and most likely lost in translation...and also read the book of the Jewish religion that Christians stole. What next?

Just talking to these people and their closed minded ways gives me a sick feeling in my stomach. For there to be such people in our great country baffles me. Can anyone explain this? I DO NOT believe God intended for his followers to act this way. If you want examples email me and I will give you some...but if you could answer this "in general" I would appreciate it.

If they can control your dreams, does this mean they also can control your thoughts? When I eat onions, I dream about bugs and creepy crawly things. WHY? How can onions effect my mind like that? Isn't that kinda creepy?

I was on this one allergy med one time that made me dream almost every night that one of my family members died a horrific death. Freaky.

I just found out that my dad of all my life isn't my biological dad. My mom is not sure who my real dad is, since she cheated 5 times. Race-issues have been a central struggle in my life. Knowledge of who I really am is very needed.

This earth cannot be a peaceful, respectful, and fruitful world until people give up selfishness. Whether it be Christians or non-Christian. If you don't agree with anothers beliefs at least respect them, is that to hard to ask. I take my beliefs in Christianity very seriously. And I notice that even some of the people who claim to be Christian fall short in this arena. I'm not judging anyone in particular but simply pointing out a defect that can be taken care of by Christ Himself. If you don't agree with anothers beliefs at least respect them, is that to hard to ask.

Well, like they say...there's always a rough draft before the final outcome, so the women could actually be the perfect humans, and the women should be leading the world. Who knows?

But imagine this:

Jesus was actually a woman during the time of feminine supremacy. After the events happened, the same council of men that voted on Jesus's divinity also changed up the story to where he was a man, then the whole supremacy of that society changed! Male supremacy reigned and has been for many years, which is totally unfair...

None of you own the original Bible - just a version of the Bible. It would have gotten lost in 2000 years of translation to different languages, and the meaning could be drastically altered.

Who knows, like I said? Just a theory.

It is obvious to me that it is fiction but you have
folks saying that they will never step foot into a church again because of it! I think it has gotten out of hand.

I particularly enjoy the way some Atheists are going around saying that they finally have the proof they need to demonstrate that Christianity was a fabrication. Meanwhile, they have the nerve to say that is is the Christian that adheres to fairy tales?

Someone, back me up here!

The dreams were interesting. He keeps telling me how he's really the devil and has captured the minds of a large percentage of the population of today, and that nothing I can say or do will convince the minds of the Christians on Yahoo! Answers will make them change their minds.

Scary dream, eh? When I woke up, there was a cross and a Bible by my bed, and a note that said:

"Read it, believe it - you have no choice, I will eventually have everybody under my control, and the ones who don't believe will perish."

I don't want to believe in the devil! Does that make me wrong?

If God is the only one that can give life, it cannot be justified that he takes them too, especially when the victims could largely involve innocent children, infants and sometimes even clergy!
