I wouldnt say that im angry, more confused and even outright baffled at how people are content with being blissfully ignorant. Well, ignorance and acceptance of whatever makes you feel better and more secure in blindly accepting information and direction for how to live your life is kind of a precondition for being an active participant in religion. Anyways, on a side note, if christians or catholics are right (its a definate , i emphasize possibility) id rather go to hell anyway. Maybe then i could convince satan to recruit me as a hell warrior or something sweet like that, and i could slaughter angels or something incredibly awesome like that. Anyway, there is really no point in arguing with the faithful, they dont want to believe anything else, even consider other possible truths, so strongly that i would assume untill that changes the arguement, no matter how good against religion is a futile one. I believe that Stalin was god, i read it on a napkin he wrote that said so.

Seriously, you people (religious) are all the same. Your arguements are inferior, your damn straight god hasnt revealed himself to me, probably, no, almost surely because he does not exist. Now, im sympathetic to your fears of the afterlife, ill grant that everyone posses in them some selfishness and desire to live forever. If god is what hes said to be, perfect, all knowing, wanting all to believe in him, he would be/do a few things. First, he wouldnt posses qualities like wrath and revenge and hate. These are human qualities, detestable ones that they passed on to this fairy tell of god, whod have thought that humans could only imagine something so like themselves (speaking of christian/catholic style god here). He would also make his existence well known, not in some mysterious ancient book (who cares about languages, or how long those tards spent doing it, they could have a: had the facts wrong to begin with, or b: changed as they pleased) but through obvious ways to everyone

How do you conclude that. You, your pastor, his teachers, your parents, their parents, (hopefully the proverbial you gets the point by now) have no idea what went on when the supposed events were supposedly taking place, nor in the time when written language was finally able to record them (100 or so years, i wont pretend that im sure on this but it was a while). There is no proof whatsoever; just hope and faith. Which, if you prefer to believe illogical things for really nonexistent reasons i guess is okay. And in response to someone commenting that the fact its been around forever means its the word of god, that might just be the weakest defense of the bible ive ever come across, even weaker than "it says its the word of god, so it is". The fact its been around is merely a testament to "religion is the opiate for the masses", uncertainty is a scary thing sometimes, but to claim any real proof of legitamacy of things claiming the "word of god" is for lack of a better word, stupid

Should we, (humanity/societies combined/whatever) tolerate the actions of the faithful? Faith = believing something with an abscence of reasoning, proof, knowledge of this thing. Since there is no reason involved in being "faithful" of anything, why should you be able to belief what some would call rediculous and potentially dangerous things. Lets try replacing the word faith with its real with its definition. Should people just be able to dictate whatever actions they please based on their 'lack of reasoning', and do whatever they please because they believe/hope in something. If you think yes to this, then you are essentially defending islamic terrorists, they commit acts of violence, often involving their deaths, becaues their faith (or lack of reason) tells them they will recieve a spot in the highest region of heaven. I am not trying to rude or disrespectful, so much as loosing sleep over how people can hold the beliefs, and opinions about those beliefs that they do.

I think that they were around in the Medieval or Middle Ages. I thought it was Agnostic, but Wilkepedia doesnt think so. I remember hearing about it in high school. They held that Satan was justified in talking the 1/3 Heavenly Host into rebeling with him because God was tyranical and prone to tormenting others.

He is the Master of Masters, The MAITREYA. His role is to usher in the Golden Age. In order to achieve this new world order, all religions must merge under one umbrella, All will accept this except the Christians who will regard Him as the prophesied ANTICHRIST. Unfortunately, in order to achieve his mission, opposing Christians will have to be 'dealt with'. This was the vision that Sister Lucia had. It is known as 'the third secret of Fatima. It will soon come to pass, this is why statues of the blessed virgin Mary are weeping tears of blood all over the world.
