It seems like today so many young intelligent people have come to the conclusion that God is a rather silly notion. What led to this? The hypocrisy of the religious right? The internet as a medium to get their voices heard without being drowned out by the bleating of sheep?

I dreamed that there was this pregnant deer and she could talk! I said, "How can you talk!" And she explained that her father was a human, while her mother was a deer. She said that she felt more human than deer, but humans did not accept her as human so she had to go live in the woods. Well now she is having a baby deer and she was not sure what species it would be and if the pregnancy would succeed.

Ok, my question is... if it were actually possible for this to happen:
How would a half-human half-deer have sex without committing bestiality?! Should she mate with a deer or a human?! And if she really felt "more human than deer" then shouldn't she be accepted in our society? It's not HER fault that her parents were disgusting!

I know. Bizarre!!!!!!!!!

What kind of man would die just so you can murder a million people, say you're sorry and still get to heaven? Was Jesus retarded or did he have a mental sickness? Did he want to get his *** beat and tortured? He couldn't find another way to die for your dirt? First of all, Jesus never even exist and god and the devil are fake. I'm just giving you the benefit of the doubt and what's this crap about no sin being greather than the other? Would you want someone to kill you or would you rather have your boyfriend lust for you when you're horny?

At what time in out lives do we acknowledge that we earn enough credability to determine (without a doubt) the presence or absence of a creator or eternity or life on other planets or reincarnation etc., when we can't even control the time of our next bowl movement.

From what I know, men and women are equal in dignity but are not the same. Women can't be fathers, and men can't be mothers. That's just the way nature made us different. One is not better than the other, but we are different and should be happy with our differences and how we compliment each other.

Supposedly, experiments have been done to cross-breed humans with chimps, but the offspring were destroyed. If this really happened, do humanzees have souls? If so, do they have to prescribe to certain beliefs to go to heaven, or would they automatically go to hell?

Before you claim it isn't physically possible, consider mules, ligers, and numerous other cross-breeds.

I just saw a commercial for "The Omen" and I just realized, Satan must be pro-life! Think about it, if Damien's mom had him aborted, there wouldn't have been a son of Satan and no movie! And, if you don't go for the "Satan has a son" bit, then think about this. If no babies are aborted, then there are more people to grow up as sinners and go to hell. Satan will have more people joining him in hell if they aren't aborted and sent back to heaven, right? So, Satan must be pro-life. Agreed?

When I ask a question, I don't look for an answer that is too similar to my opinion. It does play a part, but I'd rather find another interesting view or a good point and give points to that person for the "best answer".

It really bugs me when somebody's like, "DO YOU LOVE GAWD HE IS SO AWESOME?"

And then stupid people are like I AM SOLD FOH GAWD AND I HOPE THAT JEEZER COMES SOON TO SAFE MY PITIFUL DAMNED LIFFE and then the get 10 points for the best answer, and the asker comments:

"GAWD WILL SURLY SAFE YOU'RE LIFE U JUST B LEAVE IN HIM AND HE WE MAKE SURE YOU GO TO HEAVUN AND COULD MY ENGLISH AND IRITASHUN GET ANY WURSE?

I prefer an answer that has correct English, a good point, and not biased. Not saying those above were. It also bugs me when people say "I dunno" or whatever just to get two points, but I suppose that can't be helped.

Time for your replies! Although I'm sure a large percentage will be stupid.

Most Christians are kind, wonderful people. However, there are a few here and there that are just plain rude and arrogant. I don't want to call them fundamentalists because there are some really nice people that are fundamentalists. So what should we call the ones that are intolerant and rude?

Radical?
Hypocritical?
Extremist?
or what?

Their belief system clearly states, Thou shall not kill, yet they seem rabidly insistent that someone do some killing on the government's behalf. Isn't that hypocritical? Shouldn't you want the person administering the lethal injection to not kill as well?

And isn't God going to sit in judgement, anyway? With ALL the facts? If so, why are you so insistent on trying to do his work for him?

Where exactly in the Bible does it say: "Thou shall not kill, unless it is to kill a killer" or "Thou shall not kill, unless it is while looking for WMD's". Why do the bible-thumpers think these exceptions exist?

Why is there belief i just one God? Thousands of years ago there were lots. I Scandinavia,Tor, Odin,Frey etc. In Greece,The founder of christianity there were loads. Why if God now exists should there be just one. Who decided that?
One other question if I may ask. Are there any Jews who contribute to this site. There is the occasional Muslim and Buddhist but Jews?
Iv'e been writing about this on http://thebaldchemist.blogspot.com in a vain attempt to get a reasonable reply instead of the standard defensive God decides.

My friends comment, "Well, since most creationist will cite Genesis and tell you that man was created in God's image, does this mean that God is an ape? I believe it is this thought that bothers many of supporters of creationism, they need God to look like modern man."

I’m confused as to how to answer this besides saying just faith....which is what I do believe.

I was wandering about a witch family.

Do witches have Family Brooms?

Do you have a His & Hers Broom, and the little kids ride on Jr Feather Dusters?

Could I use Harley* Saddal Bags ? Would this be considered, unwitchfulness?

Am I mocking a witch, by useing a Broom to sweep the carpets, or should just stick with a Kirby or Super Hoover sucker?

Ignatius of Antioch (Early Christian Bishop, Martyr, and Catholic Saint)

"Let no one do anything of concern to the Church without the bishop. Let that be considered a valid Eucharist which is celebrated by the bishop or by one whom he ordains [i.e., a presbyter]. Wherever the bishop appears, let the people be there; just as wherever Jesus Christ is, there is the Catholic Church" (Letter to the Smyrneans 8:2 [A.D. 110]).

The Martyrdom of Polycarp

"And of the elect, he was one indeed, the wonderful martyr Polycarp, who in our days was an apostolic and prophetic teacher, bishop of the Catholic Church in Smyrna. For every word which came forth from his mouth was fulfilled and will be fulfilled" (Martyrdom of Polycarp 16:2 [A.D. 155]).

Tertullian

"Where was [the heretic] Marcion, that shipmaster of Pontus, the zealous student of Stoicism? Where was Valentinus, the disciple of Platonism? For it is evident that those men lived not so long ago—in the reign of Antonius for the most part—and that they at first were believers in the doctrine of the Catholic Church, in the church of Rome under the episcopate of the blessed Eleutherius, until on account of their ever restless curiosity, with which they even infected the brethren, they were more than once expelled" (Demurrer Against the Heretics 30 [A.D. 200]).

List of Early Popes of the Holy Catholic Church

1. St. Peter (32-67)
2. St. Linus (67-76)
3. St. Anacletus (Cletus) (76-88)
4. St. Clement I (88-97)
5. St. Evaristus (97-105)
6. St. Alexander I (105-115)
7. St. Sixtus I (115-125) -- also called Xystus I
8. St. Telesphorus (125-136)
9. St. Hyginus (136-140)
10. St. Pius I (140-155)
11. St. Anicetus (155-166)
12. St. Soter (166-175)
13. St. Eleutherius (175-189)
