How do you conclude that. You, your pastor, his teachers, your parents, their parents, (hopefully the proverbial you gets the point by now) have no idea what went on when the supposed events were supposedly taking place, nor in the time when written language was finally able to record them (100 or so years, i wont pretend that im sure on this but it was a while). There is no proof whatsoever; just hope and faith. Which, if you prefer to believe illogical things for really nonexistent reasons i guess is okay. And in response to someone commenting that the fact its been around forever means its the word of god, that might just be the weakest defense of the bible ive ever come across, even weaker than "it says its the word of god, so it is". The fact its been around is merely a testament to "religion is the opiate for the masses", uncertainty is a scary thing sometimes, but to claim any real proof of legitamacy of things claiming the "word of god" is for lack of a better word, stupid
