i believe in the Holy Qur'an .
Qur'an was written fourteen centuries ago .The fact that the Qur'an is consistent with science still today ((mentioned facts only recently discovered or proven by scientists)).therefore, is a powerful piece of evidence of the authenticity of the Qur'an as God's word. This is particularly impressive when we consider recent scientific discoveries which are found to be already stated in some form in the Qur’an.

Well I am a hindu so I dont really know much about the bible. But does anyone know that muslims have been taught that the male sperm determines the sex of the baby? That is heavy stuff man. I thought the sex and conception were great mysteries. Oh man. How minute a detail is this? I also learn bible was written by a group of people not Jesus. So I dont know how much of the information was from Jesus. Hindus never get into this kind of discussion cause our religion is very different from these above books you mention so would have no way of saying what you want to know. Sorry.

To all of you who have answered thus far, the asker of the question has not denied the existence of a Higher Power. But is concerned, by waht merit do we hold to these Holy Books, be it the Qu'ran, the Geeta, the Bible. And a lot of you have quoted these Holy Books initself to prove your point wcich in fact villifies the asker's question. That we stand alone on the book syaing it's the book. I am not qualified to answer this question, so I won't, so if you aren't either, don't! And let someone who can properly deal with person's question answer it with some merit.

There is a lot of proof from outside writings and historys that back up history and from archiology. Also there is scientific proof like in the Old testiment where it calls the earth a ball.
But you will not believe and that is fine.
My question is why do you care what I do. Is it worth your time to question my every decision. You sure think about the Bible alot for a book you consider not true.

I don't want to make any statements that you migh see as moronic, but have you read the Bible to be able to say that it isn't valid or that it's moronic? If you haven't how can you vallidate your statement ?how is that possible? Then you really have no leg to stand on! Where else will you find proof except in itself? I mean you might go and try to find proof that Holden is true at say Ford or Chrysler but will you get the proof there?or will those companies rather say that they are true instead, would you realy think that would be the way to go? Well I suppose it would depend on what you would be trying to prove! But this, I do know, I have, researched the Bible thoroughly, and I have seen the validity of its contents, I actually see it every day, as well as in statements like yours! If that is what you want to believe, you will, that choice is yours, you do have a choice, but don't you think you should make a choice, an informed choice, that, you will be happy with in the future? And as for the moronic bit you really have no right to tell others what they should, or should not, believe, either, I mean, you want to be able to chose, don't you think, that others should have one, too, and not. be called names for it, especially without a foundation, on your part?Seems to me that your statement is invalid! The proof is in the puding have a look see for yourself you might surprise yourself! Then come back and tell me what is moronic!

FAITH in Christ Jesus. the Holy Bible is only valid and proof to the believer in Christ Jesus.
Rom 1:16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God unto salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek.
Rom 1:17 For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith, as it is written, "The just shall live by faith."
Rom 1:18 For the wrath of God is revealed from Heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness,
Rom 1:19 because the thing which may be known of God is clearly revealed within them, for God revealed it to them.
Rom 1:20 For the unseen things of Him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being realized by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, for them to be without excuse.
Rom 1:21 Because, knowing God, they did not glorify Him as God, neither were thankful. But they became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.
Rom 1:22 Professing to be wise, they became fools

I guess you are talking about the Bible. You are wrong. Historical proof comes around constantly. Case in point......the dead sea scrools only were found mid twentieth century. For almost 2000 years, christians had followed the teachings from "copies". The scrools were dated almost 70 years from actual events.

Hebrews 11:01
Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see. 2This is what the ancients were commended for.
And yes according to what you think it might seem that way, but each one is left to decide what they believe. But you are entitled to your opinion.
