Because he loves you and doesn’t want you to die.
Because even if you do hate him, you are his creation and he is not willing to loose you.
But it is very perceptive of you to notice – most people answering the question obviously don’t understand the question yet.

Jesus didn't steal you soul, Satan did. His favorite thing is to impersonate Christ - Satan is the father of lies - so you've just fell to a lie and you need to rebuke that lie in the name of Jesus Christ and then give your soul to Christ, lest that demon and seven more re-eneter your soul and you find yourself in worse shape than you are now. That is all according to scripture.

your soul is your mind, will, and emotions. your soul is not the real you. your spirit is the real you. Jesus has never stolen anything, ever. He wants you to accept Him as Lord and Savior so you will be in heaven for all time. beautiful, isn't it.
