Islam is the name of their religion, which means to submit to God (God = Allah in Arabic)
Muslims are the followers of Islam, or anyone who submits to the will of God
You can't be an Islam; you can be a Muslim and believe in Islam.

To put it simply: A muslim is a person who follows the religion called Islam. Just like a Christian is a person who follow the religion called Christianity.
Muslim is what the person is called, Islam is what they believe in. So they're the same thing.

If you take Christianity Bible is their book who follows it becomes Christians likewise

Muslim = beleiver Mahomed while Islam in the name of the reliegion and means "submission". By believing in Islam you are a muslim becuase yo belive in the teachings of their prophet Mahomed. Hope it helps.

No difference, they are one in the same - a group of duped people who cling to a works based faith fronted by a demon. Their adherents are crafty, suppose themselves to be intelligent and are equally split between those who are placid and peaceful in their demeanor, and those who would behead you. Avoid contact with them at all costs.
