If God is the only one that can give life, it cannot be justified that he takes them too, especially when the victims could largely involve innocent children, infants and sometimes even clergy!

God makes no mistakes and he can do whatever he wants to when he wants to do and however he chooses to do it; while it may seem harsh for the innocent to die, it is not for us to question. That persons time on earth is over and God has called them home, they have served their purpose. So pray and ask God for guidance. There is a season for everything, read in the old testament Ecclesiastes, pray before you read it.

Read your Bible, if you have one. You'll see how the plagues killed many people, the flood, enemy armies and many others. God is a jealous God and has a right to be. He created us, we, through Adam and Eve, disobeyed Him and have had to pay ever since. Every child 2 years or younger was killed when it was found Jesus was born and going to be "the new king". Did they have to die? YES. God is God, plain and simple. The more obedient we are to Him and what He wants us to do, which we learn from the teachings of the Bible and the guidance of the Holy Spirit, the better off we'll be. Then we can be of use to others, one at a time, then that one can help another, etc. We can't even go down the road without being passed and flipped off for simply doing the speed limit. MAN'S LAW. What then do we do when God's law is broken and ignored. Without acknowledging WHO God is and believing it, you'll never understand your own question. If you're not a Christian, ask around, we're easy to find, and we'll be glad to explain it to you. That's our "job". That is when we do it right. Why did you get spanked when you did something wrong growing up? To be taught not to do it again. God, since he created the world, can "spank" the earth, it's inhabitants and those in power to make policy that have a negative effect on His creation, can change the plans ANY TIME HE WANTS - HE'S GOD. He is, whether we choose to believe it or not, a fair and just God. He knows what's best for us, even if we don't or don't understand.

Sorry to blast you out of the water with this revelation: If your idea of God is that of a being of supernatural power, then 'God's' existence cannot be and is not justified. God is neither the one who can 'give' life nor the one who 'takes' it.
When the committed believers in 'God' extract themselves from the harnesses of organized religion and maintain an open mind while going to the trouble of finding out what the 'Apocalypse' or 'Revelation' are all about, they will be in for one big surprise. That surprise is that we are the end result of a very sophisticated genetic experiment which was undertaken by another humanity with many epochs, eras and periods of time behind them. They chose the planet earth for their experiments in creating life forms because it provided conditions similar to their own world and it was also conducive to supporting carbon-based synthesized life forms. Populating this planet with the various flora and fauna took many many years. The scriptures are the recorded events of the interactions which occurred between them and their creation. Mythology and legend as well provide traces of evidence relating to this phenomenom. Haven't the 'naive' followers of the clerics ever wondered why the crop circles and UFO sitings are occurring more often these days than before?
The universe is infinite. Time is infinite. In spite of what our university trained scientific experts say, the 'Big Bang' never occurred. This theory was premised upon the 'assumption' that light maintained a constant velocity. This was disproven scientifically over ten years ago.
The spectrographic 'red shift' that is supposed to support the 'Big Bang' theory is not caused by an expanding universe. It is caused by light literally slowing down.
The infinity of space and time and the fact that we were created in the image of our creator(s) is the only premise which makes any sense in this 'God' fearing world of ill-informed religions. Full stop.

That's a good question! The answer is that there are no acts of God (Natural calamities). He gave us dominion over the earth. When people are engaged in negative or violent behavior the physical universe mirrors our own actions back to us. THE TRUTH IS THAT WE ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THESE CALAMITIES AND NOT GOD! On a funny note: Can an atheist collect on an insurance claim for an act of God? hehehe!

He can take it away too, but He rarely does. Without God, there wouldnt be any possibility of life...so life itself would be the best "proof" of His existence. Without God, we wouldn't have the life to experience all of life's good...and also the bad. We just shouldn't expect God to shower us with good blessings throughout our lives. This is God's challenge for us. He created Nature and nature runs its course with storms hurricanes and earthquakes. We should adapt to it inorder to survive. We shouldn't blame God for these things.

You also shouldn't have the idea that being a clergy member would make anyone be Superman and invincible from anything. They are humans too.

To me, God does everything for a reason. Even when an earthquake strikes and people die, there is something that we could realize. Like don't live around the ring of fire area or don't waste time with life.

Hey is someone planting all these God questions so that we would be distracted from discussing other issues?

It can't. However, people need something to believe in regardless of what unfortunate things happen. However, I am not religious. I want to relate this to something. Ok, I think of God as a scientist. He manufactured a biosphere with its own creatures and its own variables. In the Bible, He interferes a lot in the first testament. Humans become corrupt and ruin their own enviroments with his interference. So He sends his Son, resets and this time doesn't interfere. And here are the results.... so.... even if you want to justify, you can't because He is now an observer.

*Although those who say that God does help and speaks to them, usually get condemned thrown into insane asylums.

Who are you to judge God? You are judging Him by saying "it cannot be justified", sure it can, God knows whats going on, you don't. God allows things to happen, much of the pain in the world is human made from terrible choices based on greed, stupidity, lust, etc. He gives us free will and we are not controlled by Him. We are the ones that really have messed up things.

No human was created to live forever. We were designed to live and die, going back to God, who created us.

Yes, it is sad when children die, but there are reasons for things we don't have the answers for here on earth now. We will have all the answers when we die.

Becuase Adam and Eve disobeyed God, there were consequences. Yes, God takes innocent lives, but not directly, with calamities...But its all Satan's fault for tempting Adam and Eve to eat the fruit from The Tree. But those who die, as long as they believe in Jesus Christ and that He died for us, will go to heaven. And anyway, life on earth is only the front cover of the book. Once we die, and go to heaven, our real lives begin. We must have faith in God and believe in Him, doing the best we can on this unjust earth. if you want to blame someone, its Satan or Nature...

Because Adam sinned. God is in control sure...but Man does have a will that is free and is subject to responsibility. If a innocent child dies it was most certanitly God's will, but death was brought into this world by sin, through man.
