It's all about faith. In fact, every religion requires faith. And when a person accepts Christ, God looks at "the faith." People aren't supposed to understand the mind of God. We weren't meant too.

Instead, we're supposed to trust Him no matter what. For myself, I'd rather live for something worth dying for, rather than living for nothing at all.

Though it may seem hard to believe something without physical evidence, a man must wait upon the Lord for renewed strength and a new vision to see the light.

I can't begin to think of what it is he has for the evidence for the belief he has in God. That in itself would be a very interesting discussion.
Tell him that the evidence of Jesus Christ as the
Son of God and Savior sent to us by God is only felt and can be seen when he opens up his mind and heart and listens to the words of God. If he will ask he will get an answer, if he will knock , he will have the door opened for him, if he will just be glad we are living in the New Testament of Jesus Christ instead of the Old Testament of ceremony and endless rules and proper etiquette and the sacrificing of animals to atone for sins he will be freed.
We feel a physical lightening when we give it up and know we are helplessly unable to be good enough to go into heaven. So we have a scapegoat in the form of Jesus Christ. He is always listening and when He hears you ask him to forgive you because you know you are never gona be good enough He is immediately taking them from you.
Your body feels lighter, a relief rushes through you and you want to laugh and laugh and cry all at the same time. It is the best physical experience of my life!
I needed no proof of anything being real any longer.
I have faith!

Your friend is not unique to our day and age. Christianity is not what it used to be. Today it is a business, political and social organization devoted to separating your from your mind and your money. A believe in God is pure. An appreciation for life and for the opportunity to share life with others who also appreciate life. Even the Nazarene cleared it all up by stating that love of God and love of fellow man was all that counted. Your friend could teach you a few things. God is life. Christianity is a little mixed up at this time. I hope it gets better.

Your friend has a right to his own mind. If he needs evidence its his right to expect it or not believe a thing on that basis. You left out one very important point when you asked your question ... Has your friend ASKED you for your help? If he hasn't there's probably a reason for his NOT having asked. You know, like not needing it or wanting it. Don't meddle with the rights of others to believe what they choose based on whatever criteria they deem appropriate. You don't have the right to do that. God helps those who help themselves. People who help others with out being asked mostly just hack the other person off.

Personally I will not ask my friend to believe in something I cannot prove OR he has doubts in, so I rather tell him to read and research about the topic before he is ready for conversation.

Mate you cant prove MOST of the christian claims cause they are illogical and unscientific this is the reason Am a Muslim now I would also like you to read and research about Islam very logical and scientific

just show him the love of God by not being pushy, but being there for them, answering questions and stuff. tell your friend you are there to help and they are welcome to come along to church with you if they want to, all they have to do is ask. if they ask questions that u dont know the answer to, dont make something up, say, im not sure, ill find out for you, and then DO IT. read ur bible, ask a Christian friend. ask me if u want (ima.musical.bubble@gmail.com)

then u just pray. ask God to soften His heart etc... when your friend is ready, get him/her a bible (NLT is a good beginners version) youll know He is ready coz God will show you.

all you can do is make sure that your own relationship with God is strengthened enough to help this friend and others. spend time in the Lords prescence, He wil give u all the answers.

God bless you! :-)

You probably bneed to support him. Introduce him to other religions. I am doing the same thing. I believe in god, but i WILL NOt be a Xtian. That may not be the right path for him. Every religion isnt for everyone. Leave him alone.

1. Pray for him.
2. Be a loving friend and continue to reflect Christ to your friend through your actions.
3. I would recommend giving him a copy of the Case for Christ by Lee Strobel and a bible.

God will be able to use you as an opening to reach your friend through your continued love and interaction with your friend.
