The dreams were interesting. He keeps telling me how he's really the devil and has captured the minds of a large percentage of the population of today, and that nothing I can say or do will convince the minds of the Christians on Yahoo! Answers will make them change their minds.

Scary dream, eh? When I woke up, there was a cross and a Bible by my bed, and a note that said:

"Read it, believe it - you have no choice, I will eventually have everybody under my control, and the ones who don't believe will perish."

I don't want to believe in the devil! Does that make me wrong?

Hehe, Jesus was right...none of you will believe me. Well, at least I know I'm in the right...

To tabs -

I hope that's not a picture of you, because somebody that old wouldn't be as immature as me!

Tabs, you can ask mainworry - somebody was trying to impersonate him, and I defended him even though I wasn't too crazy about him always giving me Christiany answers. I deleted the question because people who knew nothing of the situation (like you) tried switching sh1t around and thought I said Mainworry did do it, which he didn't.

If that was the devil, then why would he want me to read, study, and believe the bible?

Not wanting to believe in the Devil is almost as foolish as not wanting to believe in Jesus. They are both real and if you really had the dream you describe it would be possible that it came from an outside spiritual source.

Of course it seems much more likely that you're just having fun and trying to make a point. Still you have come close to the truth when you talk about believing the gospel message or perishing. Sorry if that sounds harsh or "controlling" but people who want to argue against the good news that God sent his only Son to pay for our sins so the we wouldn't have to go to hell are like someone who is on the 5th floor of a burning building who wants to argue with the fireman who is at their window on a ladder telling them that there is only one way to get out safely.

In order for the devil to exist, God must exist. Because God exists there is a supreme good to believe in and for us this is the Holy Trinity in which Jesus is apart of. Chill out with the questions, let faith take its course, and I would start off by not surrounding yourself with some of the dimwitted answers from atheists on this site.

Well you are correct in that Satan has control over the world.

2 Corinthians 4:4 will tell you that.

I don't think Jesus goes around with his torture and death device. I think a cross is the last thing he wants to see. Especially when people want to carry it around their necks. Do you think JFK wants a bullet worn or Buddy Holly wants airplane necklaces worn around peoples necks?
Besides he was nailed to a stake and the cross is a babylonian variant which has links with again not suprisingly with paganism.

Finally, I think you're weird.

He is talking about the Jesus of the bible. That one is the devil for sure. "The whole world will worship the beast..." mark of name, 666, devil, buy sell, etc. Devil is a clever little fellow and quite convincing (that's why he's the devil, hehe) and he's cheeky too.

It was just a dream. The devil has captured the minds of millions, but many more than that have accepted Jesus in their HEARTS.

Dreams can be powerful things, but biologically, it's just in your mind. And sleepwalking can explain the note. I write on my chalkboard sometimes.

Jesus himself would never scare you.

Now I like that one. I should have thought of it.
...you are right on. People that believe in god and all that will not open their minds to anything else. A real shame isn't it. Keep dreaming but don't believe just enjoy.

No, no, and no.

Of course, once you set your brain aside and accept faith, you no longer have any basis to determine truth from falsehood. If you can accept Jesus in the first place, there is no way to determine if he is god or devil (or man). It's just a matter of what appeals to you.

So, will they perish because they don't believe in the real JESUS? or will they perish because they believe in the "Devil Jesus"?

I don't get it... explain more thorough next time. And if this is bull, you should be ashamed of yourself for inflicting conflict on people's religions... let us believe what we want to and keep yours to yourself.

I LOVE JESUS...
