Did Jesus teach his disciples that they could perform acts of healing? If not then why does the Apostle Paul tells us about the gifts of the spirit – healing, seeing, tongues, ect? And importantly why are today’s healers seen as fakes? Is it not possible that humans are healing other humans today with these “gifts”?

Nothing can come to existence without God's blueprints and his approval or authorization, something has to be created by something, right? Christians, think! before you answer the following simple question: Who created God? Was God an accident? What was his previous job before one day He decided to create our Universe?

The Old Testament reflects 10 commandments, yet the New Testament quotes Jesus as having said to his disciples “A new Command I give unto you, that you should love others as I have so loved you.” So does that mean there are 11 now, or 1?

MY gf had found a large lump in her right breast. She went to the elders for prayer and then went to the womens center. They took her as an emergency and gave her her first scan and indeed found a large lump. Checking with another Dr they ruled out a cyst and gave her another scan from a different angle. The second one showed the same lump. She and the elders were all the while praying and the third scan was taken. The lump had disappeared and was no where to be found. She went home totally healed.

The best advice my father ever gave me was, "Don't ever belong to a church that has a gymnasium." The longer I live, the better his advice seems. However, I am interested in those who are comfortable with this as part of the ministry. Why shouldn't excess church resources be directed to ministries more pressing, such as caring for the poor, the sick, the afflicted, and the lonely?

Do you think the good christians in America would tolerate sin and not throw the stones?

Since its not in the Bible according to some of them on here I have read today.

If you caught me cheating on my wife would you stone me, since your Bible does not instruct you to tolerate sin?

I'm going to an extreme here to make a point maybe, but these cases are documented they have happened twice a day in the middle east.

Just looking for a little tolerance here.
