Both.
Careful...or we'll get into the Triunity thing and Yahoo doesn't have enough HD for that.

Over all the answers that say both are correct in terms of the Christian beliefs. Most specifically it depends upon which denomination you are talk to. Pentecostals will tell you the Jesus is the fullness of the God head (Father, Son and Holy Spirit) they have a Jesus Only Doctrine. Jehovah's Witnesses will tell you that Jesus was the Son of God and not God. Primarily the Mainstream Christian belief in Jesus being both Son and God comes from John the first chapter verse 14 which says "and the Word became flesh and dwelt among us....." The Word - many scholars have concluded - is referring to Jesus. They also use the verse which says "Before Abraham was I am" St John 8: 58. It is asserted that Jesus is saying that He is God by claiming to be more ancient than the Jewish Patricarch Abraham. There are other passages they will cite but those are the main ones.

Christians believe both. Jesus was both fully human, the Son of God on earth, and fully divine, God himself. This is part of the doctrine of the Trinity, which states that God is one God in three beings - Father, Son and Holy Spirit. The mystery of the Trinity comes from the fact that Orthodox Christian belief states that while there are three parts of the Godhead, God is always one and cannot be separated.

In a way, Jesus is both. He is the son of God. But in him dwells God. Think of any other family structure. God is the father. There is a part of the father in the son. As with any family structure, a portion of each of the parents is in the child. The name is passed to the child. That is what happened with Jesus. He was the son of God. God is indescribable, but at the same times He is a presence, a spirit, and that part of God was wrapped up in Jesus.

I think Christians who really have an understanding of what the bible says know that Jesus is the son of God. He is also God but not God the Father, he is God in that his father honored him and gave him a name that is above every other name, names in heaven, on earth, under the earth, his name has been exalted above all. But i am certain that Jesus is different from his father.

Both. He is a part of the Trinity which is God. The trinity consists of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. He was the Son of the Father who is God. He is also the Son within the Trinity which is God.

we believe that Jesus is a part of the Holy trinity.
He is the Son of God the Father.
God is three and one.
God the Father
God the Son
God the Holy Spirit.
like water, mist and ice, are made of exactly the same thing, yet still different.
so i guess u could say both.
