if Christians believe that Jesus is the son of God?
then why would it be hard for them to believe that he had another son , and perhaps a daughter?
Because God Revealed only that one "Christ", Messiah would come. so why would God have more begotten Children.
We are all His creation and His "sons/Daughters" by adoption through faith in Jesus.
also if you meant to ask about Jesus having children:
Jesus being without sin could not have sexual relations outside the Covenant of Marriage. Hence He was a Virgin. Guess being a Virgin is not so bad after all.

Not all christians believe that to be true. I am a christian and I see no reason to believe that God did not have more children, or that Jesus did not get married. Those who think that is a sin, are the same people who are looking for any reason to say that their believes are more Godly than mine. That in and of itself is against God. God gave me free will and I will use it, I will also not close my mind to all possibilities. Again, God created us to live, I am not going to sit in a room with my eyes closed so that I do not see this world and everything in it.

Jesus said He was the only begotten Son of God, or only one born. To say God had other children the same way would then be to call Jesus a liar.

Actually, Christians are well aware that Christ had other brothers. There are no sisters named in the Bible, but James and John, the brothers of Christ, are just two names.
The Catholics teach that Christ was an only child. The Catholics teach that Mary never had sex with her husband Joseph AT ALL---However, that would not be in keeping with Jewish law; Mary and Joseph raised Christ in the Jewish faith. until He left home on his mission. Christ was a rebel!
So you see, Protestant - Christian and Catholic are two dfferent sects of faith. Both believe that Jesus Christ was the Son of God, but so much of the Catholic church teachings was changed by popes that came up during the "Dark Ages". Popes and priests set themselves up as mega-gods, Mary was raised to the level equal to Christ, and poor Joseph was pretty much left out of the whole thing. As long as people worshiped the priests and Mary, that took away from the power of Christ in the eyes of the Catholic church. In fact, it was a rare occurrence for a Catholic, up until Vatican Two, to be encouraged to even read the Bible. The priests taught people that only a priest could "interpret" the scriptures. Well, we know that's not the case at all.
After Vatican TWO---people started reading the Bible and finding out the TRUTH, and the power of priests was diminished, finally!!!

He only needed one Son to come and die for our sins. As the Son of God he was God and this meant when he died on the Cross he became the perfect sacrifice ( God is the ultimate in perfection), removing the need for any further sacrifices.
I hope this helps. God bless.

It would not be hard to believe, but since the Bible doesn't mention it, that makes it hard to believe. It would not be a bad thing for Him to be married or have children, so it's not like they would have left it out on purpose. It wasn't in the gospels so it didn't happen.
