mine was when i was in L.A, me and my brother and his wife went to the movies and there was a Boders book store right next door so after we bought are tickets we went to the store since we had some time before the movie started it was a pretty big store so while we were all looking at some books i needed to go to the bathroom so i ran upstairs to the 2nd floor since the bathroom was up there well in front of the bathroom was this circle of seats and couches and table for people to sit and read so i ran into the bathroom and you know those little stick figures on the front of the doors to tell you which is male and female look similar so i ran in the first stall and when i got in there i swore that i saw a man standing up, than i realized i was in the mens bathroom! it was hot so i had on hot pink sandles so i knew if a man walked in he could tell it was a woman i waited till the man left and i ran out into the womans bathroom i know if no one saw me go in someone saw me run out!

I was given a deadline of April 1st to find a place. (given notice by my sister and her bf, who are roommates. Notified last week. I found a place and its what I am looking for (reasonable rent, location, room is nice etc.) But for some reason I could not put down the deposit. It had to be right then and there (almost $2,000.00). I hesitated and am not sure why. Great location and at first I could see my see myself there. My roommate seemed like a really honest and sincere person, (even though I only that person once) but I couldn't do it. When I finally convinced myself that I wasn't going to take the place, I felt better, no anxiety. Can someone explain to me why I turned down a really great place in a really great area. Now I am mad at myself. I may never find a better place in the city. I feel like a failure. Might have to go back home and face my parents (i'm 24 y.o). Do I have committment issues? what do you think?
really confused..

I was blown away. I had no idea that the earth was in that bad of shape. Al Gore made a point somewhere in the film that overpopulation is a major factor in the Earth's downfall. The population is expected to be 9.1 billion in the year 2009.

So my question is... Why do people (especially religious folks) think that it is so important to keep on over-reproducing our species? Will they ever stop labeling birth control as a sin and start looking at it as a necessity? Does God and the catholic church not care about environmental issues? Aren't there just way too many people now?

Why wouldn't it be a good idea to draw the line somewhere and say there should only be 1 or 2 children per couple? All those children will have nowhere to live because the Earth is just going to crap out in the next 50-60 years. It'll be too dangerous for them to even go outdoors.

How many people are too many people? Why is it so necessary to have a child?

**Looking for some intelligent input**

I'm 31 old to some but I still consider myself young. I was watching the movie Requim last night and really impacted by it. There was an old woman in the movie alone and senile. It was very sad. I know many people get old and find themselves alone and scared. I know others who seem very happy.

Right now I'm working full time. Trying to get business ventures started and having fun with my wife. I'm not sure if we will have kids but probably.

My question is what can I work for now that I will value when I'm old?

My Marrige, kids, money for comfort and the ability to travel, health, friends, spirituality. I'm interested in getting your feedback.

Thank you

Having just read an ignorant tirade from a Northern Youth and a couple of others. What is bugging them? Are they taught no manners or respect for their elders? Did they not have Grandparents who cared for them, and taught them many wise things? To me they must come from disfunctional families not to respect their elders. And they obviously hadn't read my post properly, I wasn't asking for hand outs - I'd paid into the system in taxes & N.I. for forty years - probably keeping their elderly relatives or work shy families in that time. But all I have got from this present incompetent government is taxes, taxes & more taxes. I worked 3 jobs & paid tax on them all - to buy my own home - now I lay awake at night worrying how to pay my council tax. For the Northern Lad who thinks money was spent on booze - I assure you I worked too hard to get a better life than to indulge in stupid drink.
And I am so proud my antecedents were in the military. It taught us backbone, pride in ourselves etc.

My area was 100% white 6 years ago and one minority family moved into our area. Next thing you know signs went up all over the place. Some here state this area will end up like Detroit. If someone can afford a 200,000 dollar home then what is the problem?

What has happened to our society that so many men need or want this enhancement? Why have men suddenly become unable to perform? Is it something toxic in all the processed foods we eat? The pesticides we use on our food? The pollution in our environment? Or is it simply that women have taken up more masculine roles and it has created inadequecy issues in our men?
I'm really curious as to what you all think about this, because to me it's alarming how many ads I see on TV for Viagra, Enzyte etc. I don't want to live in a society where even the sexual relationships depend upon a pill to make it happen! Perhaps this is a reaction to all the fake body parts and bottle spawned hair that women have these days? Perhaps men say that they like these things, but really they wish for the comfort of a REAL woman who doesn't mutilate her body with plastic parts?
Thank you for your thoughts on this subject, please no rudeness, just honest, reflective opinions!

lets face it, today's society still treats people unfairly. sure most people in america have evolved past judging people based on race or background, but they still have a long way to go. a lot of people today feel that they only have to respect people who have some sort of talents or social status and that they can treat anybody else however they want. look at Donald Trumph. the guy is an arrogant jerk. if an average person were to act like him, the person wouold have no friends..same with athletes, singers, and actors. and look at American Idol. what exactly gives Simon the right to treat people like that? just because they weren't created with great voices, they deserve to be humiliated? appearently, a lot of people have no problem with that. and whenever somebody complains, people say this is how things are supposed to be. isn't survival of the fittest the way animals live? is that what we are? what ever happened to the golden rule?

Doesn't it seem that everytime you turn around, someone is claiming to be offended by what someone else said or did? It wasn't always like this but it was prophesied in the the Book of Matthew, The Holy Bible, KJV.

Mat 24:3 And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?
Mat 24:10 And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.

Read the entire book for a better understanding. And for those that do not believe and will comment... you are not required to believe, yet.
