or they just dont get sarcasm, i love funny questions and almost every time 50% of the answers are from people that just didn't "get it"

Wait a minute here, I think you're being unfair. Some questions appear humorous, but the people asking are actually being serious.
Just kidding.
Some people just don't get it. They are lacking the sarcasm gene or something like that. How do you teach sarcasm to someone that doesn't understand it? I've never been too successful at it; like teaching common sense.
That's my two cents for ya.

It is hard to tell just from the written word whether the person means it as funny or not. Some of them are obvious and I answer accordingly. Others you can tell they are trying to be rude and they end up with rude answers. Gee, I wonder why. I think it should be fun, too. There are some hilarious people out there.

Like in politics when you know the asker is just being a smartypants and they get people all riled up? Yeah, I don't understand it,either. It is pretty obvious to me that most people are pretty good and don't actually MEAN some of the garbage they put up. Sigh.......but then there ARE those who do it for attention and trying to divide the two camps can be a slippery slope, indeed.

It's because the sarcasm is in your voice more than your words, is sometimes difficult to tell if written words are sarcastic or someone just being a d1ck.

They do but there's a dark secret to Yahoo Answers - it's got a humor-filter that was imposed by the FCC to prevent any webpost "malfunctions."

I think some are afraid of violations. Nearly all of the violations I've gotten were on answers where I was being sarcastic. "Not a question or an answer"

Most of these people do this for a full time activity cuz they have nothing else to do cuz they have crappy bitter lifes. I get violations everyday jus tfor callin somoene a moron!! I think their lives or living with them must suck cuz they take life to seriously and forget to enjoy it
