Of course it is, however it is certainly more frowned upon then when I was going to school (only the 70's by the way).

But if i'm being honest i've never really understood why people take such offence a certain names (maybe it's because i'm not black, who knows), but I just can't see myself getting so worked up if someone slagged me off for the colour of my skin, religion, nationality, whatever. But too answer your question, yes the term is still used, however you should expect the cold shoulder if you go around using it

Black people refer to eachother by that word all the time. Strangley if anyone else dares utter the word they are practically hung drawn and quartered before their feet touch the ground.
I can only assume its a copyright situation

Yes it is, and it has to be the most awful, offensive word ever. God knows black people are no different from us. We're all the same on the inside. No matter what.

No I haven't heard that word for ages. If I did hear it I would certainly have something to say about it! None of us should tolerate this sort of racism, we all need to stand up against it whether our skin is white or black.

Not really,i,ve only really heard people say something like 'black- then what ever swear word', which is sort of stating the obvious really,if you remove the swear word, but even then not that often.

Only by the people themselves. I believe it is only racist when said to offend. I have coloured friends who call me white trash, Honkey etc, but its said in fun. This politically correct stuff is too much. I was brought up to believe
Sticks and Stones will break my bones, but names will never hurt me. The UK government will prosecute if we used that term in public.

not anymore since it is racist

mainly only black people use it to eachother

DID YOU KNOW
the word n***er came from the word niger, the place above nigeria, because many slaves where taken from that area.

Another belief of where it came from was the word negro, the spanish word for black, as it was the spanish who dealt mainly in the slave trade
