HERE'S AN ANSWER WITHIN A QUESTION....I can't do it any other way. Someone asked this question, but I can't find it. I don't write Arabic, but have a friend who speaks it...but also doesn't WRITE it...and he says "Allah Bless America" is "Rehmat ul Allah America". I hope in an answer here, someone will direct me to the original question so they get credit for it---& I'll close this then! ;o)

I am trying to make a scrapbook we were in Mexico on my best friends thirtieth b-day, and I want to say Happy Thirtieth Birthday to my best friend. I have taken Spanish for many years, and I know the proper way to write it (Trigésimo cumpleaños feliz a mi mejor amigo)., but I was wondering if there was less formal way, especially to say best friend.

My taiwanese fried and I discussed how, in America as kids or immatire adults we make fun of asians by saying "ching chang chong" or we can just imitate something similar to chinese, or japanese (depending on whom you are making fun of.) It;s also prtty easy to make fun of Indians, Germans, clicking languages in Africa, whatever it may be. But do people in other countries make jokes about how stupid people who speak English sound? And I don't mean English english, I mean American English. No ebonics or southern redneck accent either. Just standard American English, like the way they speak on the news. If anybody knows what this might sound like I'm really curious, and I swear I won't be offended.
