Is it OK to use "expériences" in the plural to express the English:
"I don't have a lot of experience in this area". Or should it only be used in the singular: expérience?

Please translate "esquina de la cerca" to english. The online translator says it's "corner of the close", but that doesn't make sense. Maybe it's like a Spanish phrase....

but I cant because I dont know how to ask for her in spanish.
TRANSLATE THIS: "Hello, is Victoria there? This is _____. I met her at camp last week."

Then if they say: "Hold on let me check" or "no, she'll be back later"

Baby, I'm sorry. I really miss you and I want to hand out with you soon. Tomorrow would be perfect if you can find a ride. All I want to do is see you. Even if we just went to a mall. Sorry but today wasn't good.

In the Julieta Venegas song "Limón y sal," there's this lyric:

Yo te quiero con limón y sal
Yo te quiero tal y como estás
No hace falta cambiarte nada...

I'm asking specifically about the "con limón y sal" part. Is this a common thing to say, or is it only part of this song? What would it's English equivalent be? If it is common, can you give me examples of other times you would say "con limón y sal" (outside the context of ordering tequila, that is)?

I love this song and think it's really sweet, so I'd like to say "te quiero con limón y sal" sometime without sounding like I'm quoting from a song.

Gracias a todos.

I just checked around yahoo answers and saw an interesting question. Somebody offers german clases over the internet. But I don´t know what would be a realistic payment for the teacher? First I want to make counts and then I will write to this guy, you know, investigate about this kind of srevices and so on before contacting him. So, how much would you like to pay for one hour?

Hi everybody! I am a native German teacher and I am asking myself if you would like some German Classes? I live now in Cancun, Mexico and here the people are not really interested, maybe for them it´s to expensive, I don´t know. So, now I am thinking in giving clases over the internet. You know, using messenger with microphone etc. It works and it is live and with a real person - with me. So what you think? Feel free and send me an email. Have a nice day!

I want to become fluent in spanish one day, and was wondering, should i try to think in spanish, instead of english? Also, when reading books, should i read them in spanish, or translate them to english in my head? (i mean should i just read them in spanish in my head without translating them?) When talking to someone, how do i just not translate stuff in my head? Like, how can i just know what they are saying in spanish without translating it? i dont understand what people mean when they say that (ex: Dont translate stuff, just listen and respond). it really confuses me! any help on how to become more fluent? thanks!

Language whilst very useful has many drawbacks.
Its non-innate, non-exact, non-universal, prone to misusage and with regards to common english it does even follow phonetic rules in its written form.
In fact one could say, that the fact that it has different forms its a drawback.
---- surely there is a more effect system/method of communitcating in the everyday world that has less drawbacks whilst being more effecient. Prehaps by using more of our senses to transfer information.
Evolution has alot to answer for...
