I am interested to know - you would never say to someone 'you look really fat', but it's ok to say to someone 'look at how skinny you are' ...

Being over-weight is a thing not to be commented on, but be under-weight and you're public property - why is that?

Do you say hello again? or do you just ignore them.
Its just happened to me and I burst out crying because I didnt know what to do.
I mean you feel silly saying hello again, you feel bad ignoring them but you dont know them well enough to say something anything more than hello.
why wasnt I taught what to do in school instead of making a bloody spatula in woodwork?

I'm not going to mention what country I'm from, but when I run into a user online (through chat) and they behave more normally (not like animals) it ofthen turns out that they are from this "neighbor country".

I am 16 and during the summer i usually go to the community pool, it is typically empty since everyone is always on vacation so there is no more than 20 people there a day. When i go to the pool i usually walk and i usually walk in a towel. Now when i say this i mean i am not wearing a shirt, boxers, a bathing suit, nothing but the towel and sandals. I do this because i dont like bringing shirts since i lose them, i dont wear boxers since they come off anyway, and because i keep my bathing suit in a locker there. The only downsides to this are that sometimes my towel blows open to the side and exposes my penis, and sometimes if i get an erection it is highly noticable. However cops have seen me and never said anything, and people walk by and dont mind. So should i keep doing it or should i stop.

like lets say you go to best buy and you ask where something is. and then they tell you its here or there but theyre not busy. they just go right back to talking to one of the other workers?

Im saying because I work at a shoe store and I'd be damned if I ever told anyone go here or there. I personally show them where they are. But Im saying cause sometimes I find it annoying that you ask where is such and such and then they never go with you to where it is.

so yeah dont you hate that?

I work in a restaurant. My coworker is a loud, abusive, and obnoxious drunk. She sits down at the bar at the end of every shift and gets wasted, acting like a total moron. The problem is this.... I live a half hour from the restaurant, and it just so happens that she lives a couple blocks from me. She has no car due to a DUI, and she asked me if I could give her rides when we work together. I said okay, because I didn't know how to say No when we live on the same street. So now, she thinks we are the best of friends. She just called my house at 1:15 AM, to tell me some drunken drama. I told her to NEVER call me this late ever again, and now I realize what I'm going to have to deal with in the future. How can I politely tell her that I am not her friend and I cannot give her rides to and from work? Keep in mind, I'm a nice person, and I can be a total pushover at times.

The other day, I was at a self-serve buffet restaurant (salad bar and hot foods line), when I noticed a woman sneezing into her hands, then blowing her nose, then without stopping to wash her hands, went over to the salad bar and hot foods line for seconds. She handled the utensil tools and picked up and looked at several bottles of salad dressing before finding one she wanted.

Several days later, at another salad bar/buffet place, same thing with a different woman who was sneezing, and blowing her nose, then w/o washing her hands, filled up water glasses by pushing a lever on the water dispenser.

I didn't say anything to either one, but I'm thinking I probably should have. These people are ignorantly spreading viruses to lots of other people.

Do you think it's best to say something to people in these situations or just let it go? And how would you phrase it?

My boss is peevish and irritable, and is rude to me if anything gets on her nerves. She talks to me like I'm sub-human sometimes, and I really don't know how to deal with it. I've been working as a cashier at this place not quite a month, and everyone else seems to get along with her OK . . . so is she singling me about because I remind her of someone in her past? or did I do something to get on her bad side? Today she talked to me like I was a dog in front of other people and I was so embarrased I spent my brake crying about it. I'm just a kid and have never dealt with someone like this before. Have any advice? Is there an acceptable way I can confront her next time? Will it help if I tell someone higher up, or will that increase her dislike of me? Please help.

My co-workers want to eat out together several times a week. I've eaten with them a few times, but its getting more frequent and a little annoying. Sometimes I want to run errands or just be alone and take a mental break.
Not sure how to say no without seeming rude??

I am 16 and i enjoy being nude quite often. When my parents aren't home i walk around nude, i am nude in my room, and if my parents arent home i take the trash out nude (at night). Recently i have also started sleeping nude, cleaning nude, and going commando. Is this normal and i should stop, or is it alright?

So, I have a friend who I love dearly, but since I felt like I was doing most of the work in the friendship, i.e I always call her, & she had shown a bit of flakiness (**says she'll call, but does not, OR does not get back to me, *even though I leave a message to do so), & it only seemed or seems like she only contacts me, when it's about her*, & not just cuz, I decided to distance myself. I *did not want to do this, but I felt in order for me to know that she is a true** friend, I had to not contact her, & see if she cares enough to know why & see if she actually calls me or messages, as a true* friend would do that, instead of not giving a damn. ~Anywho, I still care for her, so out of my heart, I sent her a Christmas card (I DID NOT EXPECT ANYTHING FROM HER ) I did it because I care. ~I just got an Xmas card from her, today to be exact, & in it, she wrote a short message but ended with "Love you much", Love- Jackie". Should I still distance or message her like I had planned?..

I give eveyone else in my sister's family Xmas and birthday gifts, however, I am not fond of my brother-in-law and I know the feeling is mutual from the way he treats me. Should I go ahead and give him gifts for these occasions even though my heart is not in it and it would not be sincere? I want to do the right thing but I don't know what to get him and I have to send the gifts through the mail.

Does the tip go in the mail box? I live in an apartment, and i don't think he can see inside the mailbox - he just opens the top and throws mail in the slots (hard to explain).
So how do i give the tip to him? And how much ? On which day?
He's delivered a lot of packages up the stairs, and they work hard this time of year, but i never knew you're supposed to tip them until someone told me i was supposed to.

I really like singing, especially in public (I am not bad, I take vocal lessons too), and yesterday I was singing songs about Christmas and America while waiting to be picked up from school. First I am singing "God Bless America" and a younger girl comes up and starts harrassing me and my friend. Later, I am singing "Holly Jolly Christmas" and when I am done, another girl walks past and says to me "I'm a Jew" with the most hateful look in her eyes. (I thought they were all about peace!) I am not really religious (I just celebrate widely celebrated holidays).

Would it be okay to shout profanities when they do this?

I don't care whether or not I get presents for special occasions like Christmas. Usually when I want something I go out and buy it but I just don't care if I get presents from people. I find it awkward. I have fun buying presents for people and wrapping them. My husband feels the same, for birthdays and holidays I ask him what he wants and he's like "I don't know, I don't really need anything". When I was a kid christmas was so exciting, now it's just another day.
