I went to www.gap.com, clicked on 'contact us' (at the bottom of the page), then clicked on 'online feedback' and left my message, without having to use anything more than my email address.

Thank you for your e-mail regarding our current advertising campaign on

Yahoo. We always want to know how our advertising is being received,
and your comments are appreciated.

We have several different campaigns a year, and each one is designed to

target various segments of our consumer base. We regularly evaluate
our
ads for effectiveness and reach because we want to make sure our
advertising is appropriate for our customers and our brands. Feedback
like yours is an important part of this process, and we have forwarded
your concerns to the marketing managers who are responsible for these
decisions. We are sure they will be interested to hear your thoughts
on
this matter as well.

Again, thanks for bringing your concerns to our attention. We hope you

will continue to let us know how we are doing.

Sincerely,

Ed

You would think that the MORONS at YA would have figured out by now that this ad is pissing a lot of people off, but I guess the money makes them deaf and blind!!!

You should send this kind of complaint to Yahoo! Answers also, since they accepted the advertising. By the way, if you stop using this site, Yahoo! will notice. A decline in hits will certainly hit them in the pocketbook.

(Try downloading AdBlock Plus for Firefox. I haven't even seen the ad that everybody is complaining about.)

I've always liked The Gap. Admittedly this ad makes me rethink their marketing common sense.

I tried to email through the "contact", and then it asked for my password. How can we just contact these idiots.
There must be a way other than turning my speakers off!! Can't anyone help?

That ad is so friggin' annoying, but I don't think they'll take it off just because we don't like it. Money does wonders.

*sighs*
