how do i stop myself from running away from him? He is so boring I cant handle it.

It shouldn't be so hard to stay with anyone, unless you settling.
DON'T EVER SETTLE!!!!!

If you're bored out of your mind then break up with him and date other guys.

tell him that he is boring you and is wrecking the relationship and if he continues being so selfish and lazy and puts no effort in, then leave. You're obviously not happy if you are asking us how to stop yourself from running away from him!!
Good luck and remember you should be able to have an interesting life and relationship and if he just ain't cutting it and you give a warning and he doesn't change his act then just leave! You don't have to put up with that :)

some people are born homebodies. so plan something and take him with you. if he is not interested in going out and doing things, then move on. someone that is addicted to tv is not the kind of person you want to spend the rest of your life with. do you want to watch people live on tv, or do you want to experience life yourself? find someone that likes to camp, canoe, attend sports, hike, garden, bike, run....

Why do you need to stop yourself? If you're not interested in continuing the relationship and you don't think he can or will change, then leave. How is this confusing to you?

u cant... if hes boring then ur gonna leave him... its just "when" thats the issue...
ultimately the most important thing is if you are happy.... if your not happy anymore than the relationship is stale... quite honestly people stay with people just cuz ur comfortable...
sit and ask yourself this question
"do i wanna be with this guy cuz he makes me happy"? or "because i am comfortable and its what im used to"? if u think its cuz ur comfortable u need to go elsewhere....
