...because someone cut you off or pulled into the empty space from the other side.
Do you get even? And how?

How do you get even?
And don't give me any of that crap about "let it go" "be the better person", etc. I'm looking for some juicy revenge stories here, not that pantywaist garbage.

I would let it go if it were me but I once had a co-worker who slashed all four tires of the guy who, after stealing his parking space, got out of his car and laughed at him for beating him to the punch. He waited till the guy was gone and well away from his car before he did the deed. When I heard this, I thought it was hilarious and honestly thought the guy deserved it.

One male friend parks ostentatiously nearby and then follows the person, making sure they know they are being followed. Makes 'em very nervous.
One friend waited until the person went inside, and then opened the unlocked car, put the windows down, and then went on her way. It started raining five minutes later . . . (this was a long time ago, before power windows!)
Or you could just let the air out of one of their tires. :-)
Another friend gathered up some ads that someone had been putting on cars, and plastered the windshield with 30 or 40 of them.
Another teenage friend (this has been a while) used a tube of epoxy glue and squirted it into the lock (again, I'm showing my age, this was before the remote controls!). They couldn't get their key in the lock to unlock the car.
Another teenage friend swiped the rubber blade off the windshield wiper -- it's something that most people don't notice until they need it.
But basically, with road rage and people's tempers the way they are, I'd be a little afraid to confront someone. It's not as though they are going to move their car, is it? A sharp tap on the horn to let them know you're annoyed is about the best you can do.

I once was about to back into a parking space and someone fronted right in. I told him that he'd better worry about his car when he was gone. Then I drove away. I never looked back, but I really hoped the guy would worry enough to have to move his car.

ok, i know u want to get revenge but trust me ( i used to be an angry 6 hr roundtrip/per day commuter in los angeles) you need to let this go! you never know what crazy nut job is in that car and what they are willing to do if you go haywire on it. I've heard SO MANY stories especially in Los Angeles, of people getting out of their car or rolling down their window and ..
-shooting the other person in the head on the freeway
-throwing the other driver's dog on the freeway
-getting out of their car and pistle whip you
-getting out of their car and destroying your car with a bat
-being polite and destroying your car while you are away shopping, etc.
-it being a gang initiation situation where they beat the crap out of you or follow you home and beat the crap out of you
ITS NOT WORTH IT!

No point. You're not going to get the space. And I think that people don't usually realize that you wanted the space when they take it. So it's not like they're doing it on purpose to offend you most of the time.

I try to just let it roll off me. I figure their problem goes deeper than a missed parking space and the extra walking will do me good. Trying to "get even" is childish and serves no purpose.

There's no way to get even without the possibility of going to jail. So, no, you don't get even. You just leave it alone. Unless you don't mind going to jail. Then, you flatten all the tires on the car.

An eye for an eye leaves the whole world blind. It's a cliche, but a true one. I don't waste my time or my karma on stupid people and I'm much happier for it!
